I slowly sink lower into the deep end.
It seems like the voice is asleep so I try not to move.
I could feel the hard rough rocks against my now weak skin.
A piercing sound emanating from a sunken ship, awakes the monster from its slumber.
"No, no, no...." I try to say but water floods my lungs.
"Help me!" I cry out.
But in the deep end there's no one to save you, there's no helping hand, you are all alone!.I don't fight anymore because I know its of no use.
I simply let myself fall deeper as rocks leave scars on my peeled skin.
The monster laughs, mockingly as it enjoys my pain and misery.
Its laughter is the only thing I hear, as I see the last soft bubbles of air say goodbye to my lungs.
No more energy.
I finally lay softly at the bottom of the ocean. Waiting for it all to end.
Counting the last bubbles of air, which have become smaller now.
At least I shall soon find serenity in a new home, no more voices, no more monsters and no more falling.
Its a lot darker than before or is it my eyes giving up on me.
I smile bravely at myself "I tried" I say to myself
"liar" the voice barked at me "you are nothing but a pathetic, weak, coward."
Those are its lasts words to me, as it smiles proudly with its yellow broken teeth.
And those are the final words I hear as the last bubble floats to the surface.
