Hey, here is another update!

Ross P.O.V

I jiggle the door handle and yell for Laura.

After silence, I start to thrust myself onto the door.

Eventually, it breaks open.

I search frantically around the room...

But there is no sign of Laura.

"Laura?" I call.

After a moment, I start to rock myself, crying my eyes out.

"She's gone!" I whine.

"Ross?" I hear a relieved voice.

I look up slowly, "Laura."

I jolt upward, wrapping her into an embrace.

She cries into my chest, as I start to dry my tears.

"Laura, let's go." I comb through her hair.

She nods, sniffling.

I pick her up and walk outside to my car.

We drive home, not saying a word.

"Ross." Rydel smiles at me, squeezing me.

"I'm so glad your okay." Rocky smiles.

"Me too." My mom breathe.

Laura just has a blank expression her face, pale as a ghost.

"Laura?" I wave a hand in front of her.

She snaps back with a blink, "Sorry. I'm just..." she trails off.

I sigh, wrapping my arms around her.

"Laura, what happened?" Ryland inquires.

"Ryland-" I look at him.

"No, it's okay." Laura assures.

I release my grip, allowing her to tell what happened.

"As you know, Riker took me. We got to a hotel and got a room, against my will. He then pulled out a piece of glass, trying to stab me. Then we heard Ross knocking, and as afraid as I was, I pushed Riker out the window." She scratches her arm.

"My baby!" My mom gasps.

"I'm so sorry!" Laura's eyes tear up.

"Mom, don't." I shoot her a glare.

"No, Ross. I won't stop. First of all, Riker was pushed out of a window, and also he tried to stab her." My mom says angrily.

I start to get angry.

Why is she blaming Laura for all of this?!

Laura P.O.V

"Why are you getting mad at Laura when she was only trying to protect herself!" Ross exclaims, yelling at his mother.

This is all my fault...

If only I never met Ross...

No, I'm happy I met Ross, he loves me and I love him. I don't regret anything.

"Ross, you need to start sticking up for your family instead of your new girlfriend!" Rocky growls.

"Leave Laura out of this!" Ross states.
