{7} Mum

*1 WEEK LATER*

All my life I grew up thinking that I had to take care of my brother and cousins. I've had that mindset of me having to be the protector of the family.

When Sienna, Melody, Charlie or Sarah had gotten into fights at school I was the one who stepped in and fought those who threatened my family. Even when it came to my guy cousins. I've kicked more guys asses in my school than I can count on both hands. I was the one everyone came to.

But this time I failed.. I failed to protect Sienna. I failed to keep her safe and now she could be lying on her death bed! All because I couldn't get to her in time..

"Please be okay" I whisper taking Sienna's stiff hand in mine. I gently stroke her hair out of her face.

Sienna was hooked up to many machines. She had a tube in her throat to help her breath. Her head was bandaged up as well as her ribs. She had a cast on her right leg along with her left arm.

At first I couldn't understand why she wasn't healing by herself. But the doctors found traces of wolfsbane in her bloodstream. They managed to get it out but that had slowed down her healing process.

"Sweetheart.. why don't you come and get some dinner?" Mum asks walking closer to the bed.

I shake my head a little. I couldn't leave Sienna alone because what if she wakes up? I need to be here for when she does. To tell her how sorry I am for not being there earlier.

It's been a few days since I've spoken to Isaac and truthfully I was getting restless without him. But Lux and I both were unsettled at the fact Sienna isn't awake yet and we don't want to push that onto Isaac.

"Alright.. well I'll have someone bring you some dinner and a fresh change of clothes" mum says softly. She places a hand on the back of my head leaning down kissing my forehead.

I sigh softly when she departed from the room. I lay my head down on the bed still holding Sienna's hand. I close my eyes deciding that I need to get a little bit of sleep.

My vision turns red seeing my bestfriend inching closer and closer to death. With this newfound power and strength I tear my opponent apart.

My eyes focus in on my target. I take off as quick as my feet would allow to Sienna desperately wanting to save her.

I see that she has managed to kill off some of the rogues but she was now battling vampires as well. And that's not a good thing. If a vampire gets its arms around you it could break every single bone in your entire body

Sienna's bloody body continues to rage and battle. I jump on top of the rogue that had her throat. I clamp my teeth around its throat locking my jaw down together, immediately I feel the life leave his body as the wolf goes limp in my mouth.

I toss it aside attacking one of the other wolfs killing it instantly. I'm not going to stop until I know Sienna is safe. I could sense from around me that the fighting was starting to die down

When I think that I've had everything killed off  I look behind me to see Sienna standing there panting. Her legs wobbled as they struggled to keep her body up

Lux catches in the corner of our eye a vampire coming up from behind her grabbing her waist squeezing tight. Sienna yelps out in pain trying to get away

I roar loudly and viciously wasting no time in grabbing the vampire tearing its head off.
