{15} The truth

{Adaline}

Sitting up in the tallest tree of the Alpha Kings land I look out amongst the beautiful scenery

Coming up here is like escaping from the werewolf world  and stepping into another far beyond anyone's understanding. Some just don't realize the true beauty of the earth and what it has to offer. Now humans are just destroying it with their greed for money

"Hey pretty girl" an all to familiar voice says from below me. I look down from the branch seeing Isaac

"Hey" I smile down at him. Isaac looks at the size of the tree then back up at me

"Now are you going to make me climb up or you gonna come down?" He asks shielding his eyes from the sun that broke through the barrier of the tree's

I smirk "I don't know. I'd like to see those biceps in flex a little" I tease, Isaac chuckles walking towards the tree

"Alright guess you're making me do this" he mutters grabbing onto the tree. I smirk a little closing my eyes letting Lux come in

Once I open them my eyes area bright golden color indicating lux was in control.

Sliding from off the branch our body soars through the air

A couple of seconds later we land gracefully on the earth. You'd think after suffering major injury from falling from a 30 story building would make me stop jumping from things. But when I fell from the house I had a 200 pound man on top of me and lux was not in control so I kind of panicked!

Isaac continues to climb the tree grunting every once and again not even noticing that I'm on the ground

I chuckle whistling to grab his attention. My mate looks down from the tree confusion written across his face

"How did you-" he begins looking back up to where I once sat then back at me

I smile shrugging "If you need help I'll catch you" I say with a playful smirk

Isaac scoffs rolling his eyes "Puh lese I can get down thank you very much" he says. I raise an eyebrow crossing my arms

"Let's see it" I say watching him, Isaac inhales looking down at the ground. He hesitates for a second before letting go of the tree letting his body fall through the air

I absentmindedly step forward the protective side of me coming out.

Not even a second later Isaac hits the ground with a loud grunt, he rolls on his side groaning a little

I speed walk over to him crouching down "Are you okay?" I ask genuinely concerned. Lux is majorly worried

Isaac looks up at me coughing a little "Yeah" he breaths. I let out a breath that was aching to get out

"good" I whisper running my hands across his body feeling for any injuries. My mates hands engulf mine

I look at him biting my lip "Come here" he whispers putting one of his hands behind my neck gently pulling me towards him

Our lips connect with one another sharing the feeling of love and need. Isaac presses in ever so gently telling me how much he loved me

"Well I hate to break up the sex but a member is about to shift Adaline and you're needed" A voice says from above us

Isaac growls lowly against my lips putting his hand around my neck again holding me close to him. I giggle gently cupping his cheek pulling away looking up at Corianne. A girl who doesn't really like me

I sigh a little standing up but not before giving Isaac another kiss earning a scoff from Corianne

I roll my eyes a little walking past her not saying anything but I can tell that she wanted to say something. But I knew she wouldn't.
