Everyday is never the same as the last. It's always something new and something completely unpredictable. You can never guess what's about to happen next. I guess that's what I like about this whole thing called Life.

Today is just a 'Mom and Me' day. My dad arranged for us to be able to have a getaway for a day to do girl things.

Isaac was completely against me being away from him for a day but I made it up to him. It's up to your imagination to guess how.. *wink wink*

All of the other girls were kind of mad they didn't get to come but they also know that my mom isn't their mom. But they did look at her like one. Although; I do get jealous sometimes when ma's attention is on them and not me. I know I know I sound like a spoiled brat!

"You ready sweetheart?" Ma asks gently knocking on my bedroom door. I look up from my vanity seeing that she was beautifully dressed. She was covered with a gorgeous white flowy dress that still showed off her curves. She had light brown wedges on that made her slightly taller. Her beautiful jet black hair cascaded down her back curling softly. She had minimal makeup on which showed off her natural glow.

"I am" I respond after taking in my mothers appearance. If only I could look like that one day..

I stand up grabbing my purse making sure I had everything I would need inside. There wasn't really a need for a cellphone because of mindlink but you know... I still got one!

I walk out of my room following the footsteps of my mother down the stairs. As we descend we each say goodbye to the passing members of the pack as well as my cousins and brother

"Be careful! And be safe okay?" David says looking at me. I roll my eyes playfully "We're only going to be gone a day" I say. Drew gives a small smile

"Yeah but you won't have the protection of Pa and the Warriors of the pack. You and Ma are much more vulnerable out there" David responds in all seriousness

"I think your forgetting that your mother has once taken on 25 Werewolves at one time and didn't get a single scratch on her!" Ma says walking up to my side wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

I smirk a little when David's face falls a little. He opens his mouth to respond but nothing comes out. In defeat he stomps away.

I giggle a little walking out the door. I knew Ma and I would be okay. We are both kick ass fighters. I know everything Ma knows since she made sure that we spent training together every single day. She wasn't going to rest until everything she knew was passed down to me. So I was able to defend myself like she can.

We exit the pack house walking towards the car that would be taking us to the spa place. It was the biggest and best spa in all of the U.K. Pa had rented it out so no one else was going to come in. The workers would be focused on us and us only. Which, I found a bit unnecessary but it's my father we're talking about.

"So how are things between you and Isaac?" Ma asks after we settle into the car. I smile a little at the mention of my mate.

Ma giggles softly "By the smile on your face I'd assume things are great" she says looking at me. She was right! Completely right

"You know your always right Ma" I laugh, she smiles big giving my cheek a kiss. "That's because I'm your mother and I know you better than you know yourself" And she was yet again right. This woman is my bestfriend, we're the closet.

After a 30 minute drive we finally arrived to the Spa. To say I was excited is an understatement

"Let's go!" I scream hopping out of the car before it even stopped taking off inside

"Adaline Spencer you be careful!" Ma shouts after me. I widen my eyes a little running to the front desk. The lady looks up at me then bows her head "Hello Princess Adaline. It's a pleasure to have you and your mother at the spa today" she says. I can see that shes the boss of this place since she had an authoritative vibe.

"Thank you for having us! We know your the best in the country" I respond with a smile when Ma walked up to my side. The lady yet again bows at the presence of my mom

"Queen Spencer" she says politely. Ma nods her head in acknowledgment. I look around the building when they engaged in their conversation about how the day will go.

I walk forward studying the art and designs on the wall. Everything having to do with this building is related to the Spencer bloodline. There were kings and queens before my ma and pa on the walls. It showed the legacy that each of them created. But i know that my ma and pa are going down in history for being the best and most feared rulers of the land. No one dares to overstep my parents

"Sweetheart, Its time to start" Ma calls out to me in her sweet voice. I turn around meeting her gaze giving a soft nod.

"Alpha I know this may be something you do not want to hear about right now but this is important" My beta jacob says coming into my office without knocking. I furrow my eyebrows giving a slight nod allowing him to proceed

"Word is starting to circulate about that the White Talia is among us and people are setting up hunting parties!" He says looking at me with worried eyes. My eyes snap up to his anger filling inside of me.

We both knew who the White Talia was. There hasn't been a white she-wolf in centuries. There was maybe only one to ever be in existence. And yet she was the most feared creature alive, because people were lead to believe that she was here to destroy our kind. But i never believed that. I knew she meant no harm but yet she was hunted. I was only a mere boy when the White Talia was first discovered. I couldn't do anything to help her, so after decades of searching she was finally killed.

Now my daughter is the one whom people are after. My princess is the one the moon goddess has sent to rule over all of us and to create a peaceful world where no hurt or harm comes to play. Adaline was meant to destroy any source of evil that was brought in by the Vampires and the Demons who wish for our kind to be wiped out.

Nobody knows the true meaning behind the existence of the White Talia but me. I have to protect my daughter at all costs... even if it means my life is taken.

*HELLO LOVES! Im super sorry I haven't updated. I just got adjusted to coming home from London for a week. I've barely caught up on sleep and I'm starting to feel normal again. I apologize that this chapter isn't the normal 2,000-3,000 worded chapter. But I promise the next ones to come will be longer but they're may be a longer waiting period because it takes time for me to find inspiration and the right wording for each section.
