The Movies

"Hey guys we should go check out the movies today. That movie Back To The Future is out and it looks pretty good," Lucas suggested walking besides the guys. His bike steadily aligning next to him as they all walked through the woods towards Will's house.

"Yeah! Oh my god I've been wanted to go see that movie since I saw the trailer for it!" Dustin said, as he nodded excitedly. He'd been hooked ever since he'd even heard about the movie, the whole concept of time traveling was amazing to him.

Kids at school even talked about it; saying that time travel isn't possible but then again they didn't think other worldly creatures taking their friend to another dimension was possible, so what do they know?

"Yeah that sounds cool," Will said quietly; he'd always been the mellow down for anything friend. "Just gotta ask my mom but it sounds like fun."

After the whole upside down thing Joyce had been more protective of her family, especially Will. But he was sure she'd understand and be fine with the movies considering everyone was going. Well almost, one person still hadn't said anything.

"Mike what about you? Huh you in on the this fun train?" Lucas asked nodding towards him for a response.

"I-I don't know you guys. I don't wanna leave El alone. I told her I'd hang with her today after school."

"So? She could come with us too. She's part of the gang. Plus we all know you wouldn't wanna go anywhere away from your girlfriend," Dustin teased smirking at his friend.

"Shut up Dustin! She's not my girlfriend okay?! I mean sure she's pretty and all but...but-" Mike stuttered; he possibly couldn't think of anything wrong with Eleven. She was perfectly normal.

"-But what? I mean it's no secret you like the weirdo."

"She's not a weirdo" Mike said defending a bit harshly.

"I'm her friend I can call her that. That's like saying Dustin's a dork, I can say it cause I'm his friend." Lucas said as Dustin made an annoyed face towards him. "Most of the time at least."

"Hey! Take that back!"
"Never!" Lucas laughed triumphantly which in turned ended in both of the boys falling to ground play fighting.

Mike rolled his eyes shaking his head but he still couldn't help a small smile appear at the craziness of his best friends.

"Does El even know what a movie is?" Will's voice asked through out the craziness.

Did eleven even know?

Mike thought before shaking his head, of course not she grew up in captivity away from anything like that. With Dr.Brenner in his lab using her like a goddamn toy. At the thought of that man his hand clenched unconsciously.

"I don't think so. I'll have to explain it to her. I just hope she doesn't get scared of anything."

"Scared of what?"

"I don't know like how dark and loud it is in there. I-I just worry about her,"he admitted blushing bright red.

Will smiled at his friend nodding. "You know she likes you too ya know?"
