Hey readers! Sorry about the delay on putting out the next part of this story! I was about to post it and then I accidentally deleted the whole thing. I am beating myself in the head right now. Sorry it will be short, but this is a very important conversation. I will post another chapter sometime this week. This is to second tries! Please forgive any typos I am trying to get this to y'all really fast so we can all move on with our lives.        - Elizabeth Topaz

After Captain Hook had finished speaking, the ship flew into the air heading for the sky. As Peter Pan and Tinker Bell walked off to see the Lost Boys, Pete and Patsy ran to see Jamie. When they made their way up the steps, Pete was grabbed on the shoulders by Captain Hook.

"And what are you two lovely ladies doing?" asked Captain Hook with a grin written across his chiselled face.

"Well," began Pete looking at Pasty out of the corner of her eye, "We are coming to see our friend Ja-"

"That, ladies, is where you are wrong you all can't be friends with him anymore."

"How is that?" asked Patsy putting her hands on her hips.

"Because I am Captain Hook and-"

"Yeah. We got that part already."

"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted," He glared at Patsy for a moment and than turned to address me, "Because I am Captain Hook and Peter Pan is my mortal enemy. Jamie is my replacement and you, Pete, are Peter Pan's which means that you two are now mortal enemies."

"Alright," Pete said, "I have two questions. Number one: If you and Peter Pan are mortal enemies then why aren't you two fighting each other to the death right now. Number two: why can't we be friends despite the expectation?"

"Those are two valid and practical questions. The answer to number one: Every 15 years all of the current characters in the Peter Pan story get together to go and find replacements for each character. When the Characters return with the Replacements, the Characters train the Replacements for a year. Then the Characters leave and the Replacements take their places in  the story. This whole period of time is a time of peace. It was founded by the first Peter Pan and Captain Hook. It is called The Time of Replacement. The answer to number two: That is not at all how the story goes. If the story is not followed, a huge mess is made. We either have to force you into submission and\or make you follow the story. The only way to make someone follow the story is to strip their free will from them. So basically if you all try to become friends again or try to escape, your ability to make choices will be ripped from you, and I promise you it hurts."

"Well," said Patsy breaking the ice, "At least that last bit didn't sound like a threat."
