"So class the captains will be Daniel and Keith," Mr Apple said after looking on his clipboard.

After that a guy beside and the idiot himself stood up and made their way to the middle of our circle we were sitting in. Then I remembered how Kate mention Daniel's name a while back.

Now that I had a clear view of both guys I studied their appearance. Daniel has brown messy hair and brown eyes, while Keith has slightly ruffled blonde hair with grey eyes. You could see that they were both athletic and played probably football.

Short after they began calling different names but only guys. Miles was called in Daniel's team being his third team member. When Keith and Daniel split the boys in their teams they had each five members.

"Why aren't they calling any girls in their teams?" I asked Kate a bit annoyed at their behavior.

She smiled sadly and said "They think that girls can't throw so after they split the girls in their teams they won't let the girls play. Everyboy except for a small exception for example Miles steals the balls from the girls and then they aim in the beginning only for the girls so that after a bit the boys play against the boys without any girl in their team left."

I sighed "That is so sexist. Why isn't Mr Apple doing anything against that stupid scheme?"

"He sadly doesn't care at all. Every girl gave up because we are powerless against them."

I looked back at the boys that were laughing and conversing. Then I looked at the girls. Everyone looked a bit down .

Then I whispered to Kate "I have a plan. Just play along."

I talked loud in enough that the girls sitting next to us could hear me. It was good that the boys were goofing around and were not sitting anymore.

"I think that we, girls should do something against the boy's oppression and sexism, don't you Kate?" I asked innocently. I could feel girls listening to what I am saying.

Kate's eyes widened when my plan dawned on her but she quickly regained her composure and answered me "Yeah Lana you're so right. But what could we do."

Then I turned to the other girls that were all questioningly looking at me with eager faces. "So girls," I grinned evilly, "why don't you all scoot a little closer?"

Everyone did what I said with curious expressions on their faces. Even the cheerleaders that were sending me back in the hallway death glares sat down in our circle.

A few minutes past until someone cleared their throat. We all looked up and I locked eyes with shithead. Behind him and next to him were standing all the boys with questing looks on their faces.

I turned again to the girls and nodded my head. After that we all stood up.

Mr Apple was looking up from doing what he was doing as I spoke up "So we want a match. Girls against boys."

After my declaration almost every boy inclusive Daniel started laughing in our faces. Miles and a few other boys were sending us apologetic looks.

I gritted my teeth in annoyance and said "If you think that we are such a big competition you can just say so," a mischievous grin playing on my lips.

Daniel stopped laughing abruptly and looked at as. Then he started laughing hysterically. In between laughs Keith spoke up "Girls you really wanna do this. We don't want you to go home crying."

I snorted at that but what took me by surprise was that a cheerleader called Sydney spoke up and said with an optimistic grin "Bring it on, boys."

With that we turned around and walked on the field on our positions. The boys were at first dumbfounded but then went on their part of the field. We were ten girls and ten boys so the teams worked perfectly. Our plan was that the girls that are not that good at throwing should try at least. Our main aim was nevertheless having fun. But we all wanted to shove does balls down their mouths and show them that what the queen herself says is true.

"Who run the world?" I asked, smiling sincerely.

"Girls!" every girl shouted.

Then we heard the whistle blew and the girls positioned in the first row ran to the ball. In the first row the fast girls stood so that our team could get the five balls positioned in a line in the middle of the field.

I saw some of the boys running, as well but our team made it first so that we had all the balls.

I cheered for them like the other girls as they started to throw the balls with all their force and will power. They took three guys out that looked surprised and a bit annoyed.

While I was a bit distracted I saw out of my eye corner a ball flying towards my face. Because of my good reflexes I leaned back and saw in slomo the ball in front of me and grabbed it when it was above my face.

Then I looked in the direction of the idiot that aimed for my precious face. I saw none other than shithead with wide eyes. I grinned and faked an apologetic look and waved him goodbye.

After that he realized that he was out and left his field and sat beside other guys that were out watching the game. The boys that saw what happened looked at me wide eyed and some girls that were out cheered.

Right now there were three girls with me and four boys still on the field. Hah. Now three boys. Oh no. Now two girls. I threw my ball and it landed on a guy.

I looked to my right and the last girl Sydney was dodging a ball when another hit her shoulder. She patted my bag sympathetically and left me.

The boys cheered, while I looked at my last two competitors. I grinned and ran a few steps before jumping up and twirling in the air. While I did that I threw the ball aiming for one's foot. I tuned out of the world so that I was face to face with none other than Keith. In his hands were three balls and he started to throw each one of them with full force.

I felt like spider man when I tried to dodge each one of them. For saying that I thought the whole time I needed to be bitten by a spider. Weird.

But the moment I caught a ball another hit me straight on my head so that I lost stability and fell on the ground. My still swollen bump hit the ground and I groaned out loud. And again I saw stars. Wonderful. I heard cheers from the girls and steps approaching me.

"Lana, how are you feeling?" I saw Kate appearing in front of my face.

"I think my brain turned to jello."

The girls helped me sit down and they started to squeal and hug me. "We won, right. I hope my brain didn't break for nothing, " I asked after they let go of me and started talking about the game.

"We didn't just win. We broke their pride and marched on it. Duh, " Sydney said smiling.

Everyone laughed at that and they helped me stand up. I was still feeling dizzy so Kate supported me with her arm.

"Girls you really rocked it," Mr Apple told us once we reached him and the boys.

The boys were sitting on the ground shocked that we won. We all looked at each other and asked simultaneous "Who run the world?"

The boys groaned and still said "Girls."
