Chapter 7: The Demons return

When we reached the area of the explosion I couldn't believe my eyes. It was those two from my first fight, and they seemed to have someone with them in the big guy's hand. Shizu. That was it last straw. 

"HEY!" I seemed to have caught both of their attentions "PUT HER DOWN"! In a fit of rage I charged at the big guy and gave him one good punch to the face, and at that exact moment he dropped Shizu and I got her out of there. She was unconscious, yet unharmed "Thank god" I said with a sigh of relief. 

"LUCIFER'S CANNON" shouted a voice and in a flash I had to shield Shizu from the flash of light. It hurt like hell, but I would do whatever it takes to keep her safe. As the smoke began to dissipate I arose from the ground and unconscious body of my still living friend. and suddenly a power roared inside me and I turned to face the demons in their shocked state only to find them scared out of their minds, and scared they should be. They blew up my school, hurt my friend, and tried to kill me with her. "It's payback time you demon fucks" I then summoned Jane in her scythe mode.

I took one step and sliced at them the big guy only took a scratch and the female had dogged out of the way. Good I want them both to suffer, and suffer they will. I then, unknowingly, had transformed. I changed into what looked like a black knight but with a more deadly demonic look. Huge spikes jutting from my shoulders, the breastplate had a huge skull on it, the armor down my legs was  black with a white skull decal on the left shin guard, and along the left forearm up to the shoulder was a depiction of a bone. the gauntlet were pure white with black skulls on both of the backs of my hands.

It must have been an impossible feat because my new form had left the demons in a statue like state. "I-impossible" the word had stuttered out of the mouth of the female "that's D-Death's Armor". It must have left Jane surprised as well because of the way the energy of the scythe changed. I on the other hand did not care. They hurt Shizu. Now it's their turn to hurt bad.

I first attacked the more robust male demon since he was the attack dog of the two. "Reaper's fury" I said with a low tone as if I were assured it would finish the fight quick. Suddenly I couldn't see my left hand but knew I was hitting him very hard. I felt the surge of power and began to shout "AFTERLIFE DESTRUCTION"! Not even a second later the male demon was completely destroyed.

"MYRA" shouted the female in obvious distress. Then my attention went straight to her "Don't worry" my voice had changed as well. Instead of its normal high pitched male teen voice, it became a low demonic voice "you'll be joining him in the eternal pits of limbo where you belong."

Out of thin air I summon Jane in her scythe mode out of thin air "DEATHS SLASH" as I shout that another wave of energy goes flying out from the blade and it cuts her in half this time "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH" then she disappears into two puffs of smoke.

I run back to Shizu and get her away from the scene before the cops show up. By then the armor had disappeared. It had been hours later when Jane decided to ask me "Hey is everything okay?"

"Yeah. Y-yeah I'm good" I had told her after my rage had subsided and my thirst for vengeance had been quenched. "It's just when that guy held Shizu I snapped and then all I saw was black till they were both gone" I went more into detail how I could feel what my body was doing but I couldn't control it. "You summoned Death's Armor" Jane began to explain that the armor was unbreakable but it turns its wearer into a harbinger of death and destruction. "Whoa and there's no way to stop it" I had asked her concerned that if I use it again. "The first time you used it, it shouldn't have come off" she answered in disbelief "maybe you are the one who can control it".

"But don't use it till we know for sure" said a familiar voice. It was the entity that made me a Death Guardian. "Lord Death" I said and got up and stared in awe as he stood before me. I scrambled to my feet as fast as I could "what are you doing here sir" I had asked him with great curiosity "aren't you supposed to keep track of my progress in your realm"?

"Yes but I need you to come to my realm" he said with a commanding voice. It seemed I had no choice "but sir what about here it's not like you can freeze time or anything" suddenly like a stroke of fate as I said that time around us completely froze. "Time is nothing but illusion my Guardian" he explained how this affects demons and undead. "Increible" my jaw must have been droped this whole time because Jane had closed it for me. "Come Tetsumi" he motioned me to follow him into what looked like the gateway into the endless abyss of the dimension of limbo. All three of us entered the portal and the long training to control the power of Death's armor began.
