I sat there for what felt like forever, my knees pressed against rock and dirt as Sam and Alexander stood staring at one another. I was finally given clothes halfway into being stuck, a hand wrapped around my throat. The fabric pressed to my skin as the storm started rolling in, starting with a light mist before the little pitter-patters hit the stone.

"Alexander, you know I can't do that." Sam growled, clenching his fist.

Alexander laughed, his grip on my throat tightening. Letting out a whimper, I stared at Sam, clenching my jaw. I could tell he was conflicted with something, his eyes moving towards me to settle back on Alexander.

"Fine, I accept your proposal."

Alexander nearly purred with delight as he let me go, giving everyone a full view of his body. With his arms raised into the sky, he grinned. "Good to hear, brother!"

I was shoved forward, my hands catching my fall. With the rocks stabbing the skin, Alexander kicked me in my back, forcing me in the direction of Sam. I was met halfway, his arms wrapping around my waist to help me up.

"Now, I want half of your warriors. You have her."

Sam looked at me with a hard gaze, sighing. As he turned towards his pack, he looked at a group of them and nodded towards Alexander. "You are to go with him and do as he says. If I am told you didn't behave, you will be punished by me."

"Tsk, tsk, brother. If you forget, as soon as they're mine, I am their Alpha."

Grinding his teeth together, the warriors moved forward obediently, their heads bowed to their new Alpha. Alexander let out an insane giggle, waving his hands towards the warriors. They stood next to Alexander, their eyes glazed over, obedient.

"I'll be back, brother. Until you see me again, I bid you farewell!"

Sam held me tighter as Alexander left, his body quivering with annoyance. "Does that mean that Alexander is the prime suspect?" I whispered, amused.

Not laughing, he looked at me and frowned. "No. I don't think he's the one to do it."

As Sam stepped away from me, Cecily quickly took his spot and crashed against me, her arms tight around my neck. I gasped for air, the rain starting to pick up as I struggled in her arms. "Stop trying to push me away," she growled, gripping me tighter.

With a laugh, I fell limp in her arms and hugged her back, burying my face into her shirt. "I'm doing just fine, Cecily. I want to go back to the kingdom, though. I think the events for today are canceled."

She squealed as she took my hand in hers, eyes bright. "Let's have a girl's night tonight! Sam shouldn't mind, right?"

As he shrugged, he faced the group. "Everyone, back to the castle, please. I need to have a word with my warriors."

Giving a last glance at Sam, he smiled at me before he walked towards the edge of the cliff and stuffed his hands into his pockets, annoyed.

"So, what should we watch first?"

Shrugging, I sat on the bed in the room I was given, snuggling into the warmth of the blankets. The storm had rolled in soon after we left, thunder crashing in the sky as the rain beat down on the windows. Cecily seemed torn as she held the four movies in her hands, biting on her lower lip. Picking up on my phone, I began to play a game, letting her decide on what we were to watch.

"What do you think about a horror movie?"

"Sure, whatever you want to do, Cecily."

Hearing her huff, she popped the disk in before jumping on the bed with me, taking the phone out of my hands. As I went to protest, she glared in my direction, making me remain silent. The two of us settled against the wall on the bed, my arms loose in my lap as she rested her head on my shoulder. As any regular horror movie, it started with a sex scene in a house, before the two were murdered.
