Somora the sign read. Please enter exactly 3 miles towards Mormon, the place you want to be. Do not try and sneak away, we will always catch you.Do I have to? I whined to myself mentally. This isn't fair. Reluctantly, I trudged on, marking my despair with every step I took.
"Move quicker you little twerp," a slurred voice demanded from behind me. On cue, people congratulated him, saying "Nice work man, you're the boss."
And now I have to face bullies, great. I just love this, I totally deserve this. "What do you want?" I growled, wishing I could've been that confident to the demon. Stopping in my tracks, I turned around to face a group of thugs, each looking more disgusting than the last.
Some were bald, some had long hair, and some had the newest fashion hair cuts styled with hair gel. They all wore fancy leather jackets and ripped jeans from the 20th century. Most of them sported nice big shiners and many missing teeth.
"We already told you, move faster." He glared at me. "What a stupid piece of garbage, lets go." The gang walked past me, making sure to attempt a trip or a shove.
If everyone is like this, then I must be terrible on the inside. I guess I'll just spend eternity living as the odd one out. With that, I continued walking, trying to move as slow as possible.
