Sherlock walked beside Claire, a smile plain on her face. This was the happiest he's seen her, ever.
"You know, it's diffrent from seeing without your eyes, a whole new feeling. But it's fun, new. I like it." she giggles, her hand running along a stone wall, feeling everything around her.
Sherlock chuckles, his hands in his pockets, "Is this the first time you've been outside since... then?" She shook her head, "I went out to get here, duh. But, I never actually got to think about anything, just the apartment. Now..." she exhales, "it's just so diffrent. So new. It's fantastic."
It seemed like an eternity whenever they stopped, sitting at an outside restraunt. Sherlock pulled out a chair for Claire, she smiled, "You didn't have to do that."
He laughs, "I insist." She sighs, shaking her head playfully, "Fine, since you do insist." she sat down, listening to the people and things around her.
He sat in the chair oppisite, leaning back. "You seem like you're thinking of something. Something important."
He looks at her, her eyes still hidden behind the dark sunglasses. "Why don't you ever meet eyes with anyone?" he says, knowing it was a stupid question, but she really never did. Not with Lestrange, John, or him.
"There's nothing important inside them." she says. It wasn't in a mean or offended way, like he thought. It was just that. Period.
They sat in silence for a few minutes when Claire's head snapped up, "Do you hear that?"
Sherlock raises an eyebrow, "Hear what?" She moves her head left to right, as if searching.
"Like a clock, heavy, paced. Tick, tick, tick." He straightens up, hearing it too, only faintly.
Claire's head snaps back to him, "Sherlock, its a bomb!" she shouts.
A burst of adrenaline shot through his veins and he instinctivly pulled Claire under the table, covering her, when the restraunt exploded.
