Claire opened her eyes, gasping and sitting up quickly. She was still in her sweat pants and tank top from the gym, but no shoes because right as she was about to change, she heard a crash and everything went black. She stood up, it was dark, cold. Except for a iron door and a small window. She walks over, looking outside, only seeing stretching countryside and the moon shining brightly, the only source of light in the room.

She whirled around, hearing the heavy iron door being pushed open. Two men walked inside, grabbing her arms roughly, "Hey! Stop!" but they pulled her out anyway.

She tried fighting them, but they were strong, too strong. She looked around her, it was like one of those insane asylums like in movies. With the barred cells and solitary confinement rooms. She dug her heels in the floor, screaming louder to be let go, but they didn't flinch, or even look at her.

They lead her to a long, narrow hallway, where more men stood with guns, like soldiers. Everything was spinning in her mind, Where am i? What happened? What is this place? What do they want with me? Well, that was a stupid question. Of course she knew what they wanted, but she wouldn't let them get it. Not over her dead body.

They opened another heavy door, pushing her inside. She fell to her hands and knees, she felt her knees scrap against the concrete, she winces. "So glad you could join us, Claire Xavier." A man said at the corner of the dark room. He steps into the light, a fake, cruel smile on his face.

Only by just looking at him, she knew what he was. A monster. Even though his voice was soft, it was still hard, cold, evil. "Won't you take a seat?" he says, nodding at the two men who brought her in.

They pulled her up, shoving her to what looked like an operation table. She struggled to get free, "No, stop, no!" But again, like machines, they ignored her. They lifted her up, setting her on the bed and tying her wrists and ankles to the bed. She couldn't sit up, hit, or kick. Only struggle, making the bindings cut deeper into her ankles and wrists.

She looks at the strange man, but not meeting his eyes, afraid of what they held. "Who are you?"

He still had the fake smile, "Jim Moriarty. And there's no reason to try and get away, you're not going anywhere anytime soon. But, if you cooperate, you may get your freedom."

"I'm not letting you get anything." she hisses. He chuckles, "Oh, you'll come around." he snaps his fingers.

Two other men came in, with utensils. She didn't know what they were until they pulled them out. "No, no, no, no." she whimpers.

They slit little cuts up and down her arms, she held back screams in the back of her throat, not giving in. After they had done so many that she had lost count, she was breathing heavily, shaking, blood trickling down her arms. "Now I hope that was... persuasive enough." Moriarty says, hovering over her, studying her like a lab rat.

She spit right in his eye, he stumbled back, yelling in surprise. "Hope that was, too." she says between breathes. He straightens up, fixing his jacket, "Well, since you want to play hard to get." he snaps his fingers, the two men appeared again.

They were holding metal rods with thick gloves, the rods orange-ish red, like it was burning. Before she could say anything they dragged it across her hand, twice. She couldn't take it, she let out a blood curdling scream. It echoed through the halls and the room, but Moriarty didn't even bat an eye. The other moved to her left side, doing the same but on the back of her hand. She screamed again, tears running down her cheeks.

"What about now, darling?" he says after the men had gone. She shook her head side to side, gritting her teeth, "You can go to hell!!" she shouted.

He sighs, shaking his head, "Such a special child, but, if I can't get what I want, no one will." He claps his hands twice, and two other men walked in, but she couldn't tell if they were the same. One can behind her, holding her head straight, "W-what are you doing?" the other reached for something above.

Moriarty smiles, "Goodnight, Claire." And with that, she was blinded by lights.

And when she screamed the loudest, Moriarty only smirks triumphantly, knowing that he's won this round.
