How could you?!?! After everything my father has done for this world you're telling me he was slain by his most trusted friend!!! An overwhelming aura erupted from Vex causing extreme bursts of flames and mana to wrap itself around Vex. It seemed like he was crying flames. "Sequence how could you have betrayed my father. YOU DONT DESERVE TO LIVE!!!!" In an instant Vex's entire body was engulfed in white flames until he was no longer visible. The heat was so intense Sequence along with Loch and Mada were forced to back away.
"Yea he definitely the son of Vandara" said Loch raising his arm to shield his eyes from the unfathomable heat.
"SOUL OF THE WHITE PHOENIX" shouted Vex and the white flames dispersed to reveal him covered in some white dragon armor and his mana and strength drastically rose. "YOU SHALL PAY FOR YOUR TREACHEROUS ACTIONS AND BE PUT TO DEATH FOR THE MURDER OF MY FATHER!!!!"

"Vex I do not wish to fight wi-"
"WHITE FLAME WHIP" yelled Vex as his sword became a blazing snakelike whip striking Sequence in his chest sending him flying into an abandoned hut destroying it on impact. Mada jumped to his feet ready to engage in battle to defend Sequence.
"Don't! This isn't our fight Mada. This is between Sequence and the son of Vandara." Said Loch as he and Mada stepped out of the line of fire.
"I know you're still alive! Come out and face your executioner! "WHITE FLAME WHIP" Vex again shouted. This time the whip was plunged into the rubble of the destroyed hut and dragged Sequence out by his leg. Vex then continued his onslaught of attacks as Sequence lay on his back taking whip after whip to almost every part of his body. "Get up and try to kill me. Just like you did my father!!!.
All of the commotion must've woken up Raven and he left the inn to find his group in a huge fight with someone he didn't recognize beating Sequence without remorse. "Hey who the hell is this guy? And why the hell isnt Sequence fighting back? "ARCANE TEMPEST"Shouted Raven as he began to rotate and form a tornado with his scythe. As soon as he approached his friends assailant Clang! His attack was deflected and his tornado had no affect on his enemy. "What the fuck?" It was Loch he had deliberately defended the man trying to kill Sequence. "What the hell is going on here?!?!?"
"I can't allow you to interfere. This has to be settled amongst Sequence and Vex. Lest there be no closure for either of them." Exclaimed Loch.
"Wait? That's Vex?!?!?" Said Raven confused. "What happened to him? And why are they fighting?"
"He murdered my father. Now he must face justice.... "ETERNAL INFERNO BLITZ!!!" Vex yelled holding out his hands sending swarms of white flames in a circle surrounding Sequence then slammed his fist together and all of the flames hit him at once and he was instantly swallowed by the raging fire.
"DEMON PULSE!" shouted Sequence as a shockwave of mana caused the flames around him to disperse. "I wish it didn't have to be this way. Vandara was one of my most reliable friends. And to repay him I took his life. Its only seems fit that you be the one to slay me. It is your birthright. I just want to apologize one last time before accepting my fate". Sequence was already badly injured and refuses to even fight back. "I gladly welcome death if it can be considered some atonement for the wrongs I have committed. I will not fight back. Kill me if it is your will."
"Alright if you're going to make it easy I guess ill end your life quickly. "WHITE PHOENIX INCINERATION BEAM" yelled Vex as his hands began to accumulate mana and a white sphere of aura began to manifest itself between his hands growing bigger at an alarming rate. It grew so large in such a short amount of time it was beginning to look like a miniature white sun the size of a small hut. "This is for my father! AHHRAAHHHH! Suddenly he unleashed the attack and it was moving at Sequence scorching everything in its path on its way to kill him.
"Vex stop this now! Inches away from Sequence the beam disappeared and he fell to his knees.
"It can't be... Father is that you?"
"It is my son. Why are you doing this?" Sequence and the others watched Vex in confusion as he was talking to himself yet two different voices were coming from his mouth.
"He betrayed you dad. He took you away from us. Your best friend killed you!!!" He bursts into tears of white flame once again.
"Sequence didn't kill me. He was being controlled. Which is why I held back to avoid killing him when I sacrificed myself to get him to snap out of it. I knew it couldn't be him. He was so bloodthirsty and only found amusement in the deaths and pain of others. I knew It wasn't the man I had learned to fight alongside. The man I knew was gentle and only fought for peace and equality across the lands as did I. So I decided against killing my lifelong friend in the hope that it would remove the blindfold and stop the curse in which Cerberus is to be held responsible.
"If you're dead why are we able to hear you now father. How are you inside of me?"
"After my sacrifice, for a reason I can't explain, I was reborn as the soul of the White Phoenix. When your pride in your father was expressed with such love and determination to deliver justice upon those who had done wrong, I was awoken. I am now the White Phoenix Soul you possess and will awaken anytime you are in need.
"Father.... please forgive my ignorance." Said Vex shaking and weak from this newly discovered news.
"Do not apologize to me. I am not the one you have wronged my son.
"Sequence.... Forgive me... I should have never questioned your loyalty to my father."
"Don't worry about it. Its my fault if I hadnt been so weak I would've been able to stop what I was doing and Vandara would be the one still breathing. I can't be forgiven." Said Sequence punching the ground.
"Old friend. Do not beat yourself up. You are not to blame. I chose this path because I know the real you. I know you have the potential and the motivation to stop Cerberus. You can stop the chaos he is spreading across this beautiful land and bring peace to the world like we always dreamt about. All I ask of you is along your journey to defeat Cerberus allow me and my son to accompany you in battle once again... I wish to fight alongside you once more.
