It was Monday afternoon. Tyler had just got home from school. Tears fell down his face as he held his leg in pain. Just another day. He sighed.
I'm sorry for whatever I did. he thought. His peers attacked Tyler once again. Tyler deep inside knew that he didn't deserve it, but he did feel like it was his fault.
Tyler saw the knife next to the kitchen sink. He took a deep breath in and tried to stray away from it, but it felt like gravity pulled him in towards the knife. His parents weren't home. They couldn't stop him from what he was about to do.
This one is for them. They enjoyed my pain. They would like for me to do this, he thought as he picked the knife up and placed it against his soft fragile skin. He slid it against his wrists. He knew he should have probably stopped right then but the pain hurt so bad yet felt so rightfully deserved. He knew he was getting what he deserved. He watched the blood trickle off of his arm and into the sink and slide down the drain.
He threw on a sweatshirt to hide the cuts just to make sure when his parents got home that they wouldn't see. Couldn't risk hurting anyone else.
(1 hour later)
Tyler heard a knock at his door. He thought it was his parents so he pulled down the sleeves of his sweatshirt. The fabric stung against his cut up skin."Hey Ty," Josh said in a silly voice.
Oh yeah I just remember I gave josh my address! Tyler thought.
Tyler giggled "Hey Josh!" He blushed just at the sight of Josh's perfect bright red hair.
Tyler wasn't really a shy person, he liked to talk. He always had a lot on his mind, so he told Josh what was on his mind. "Josh, you're cute."
Josh giggled. "Tyler, you are too."
Tyler filled up with joy. Someone thought he was cute? It couldn't be. The rest of the time while he was there they played Mario Kart and talked about school and stuff, they were comfortable with each other.
Josh looked at his phone. His mom had texted him, she wanted him to come home.
"Sorry Ty, I have to go home. I'll see you tomorrow at school!" he told Tyler sadly.
"Oh.." Tyler looked down in disappointment. He didn't want this moment to end. "Bye Josh," he blushed just by looking at him. He was pretty.
The moment Josh left, Tyler felt too alone once again.
