Kitchen Sink Fic

Leave me alone

The rest of the week was the same for Tyler. Bullies and Josh. He began to feel as if it was his fault. He was certain it was. He was so sick of everything in his life, except for Josh.

Once again, he gravitated towards his kitchen sink, grabbed the familiar knife, and slid into his skin. They were DEEP cuts, not the little ones that he used to use to punish himself. He was tired and sick of himself. He could feel himself getting lightheaded. He felt peace for a moment. Everything was silent except for the overwhelming thoughts in his head and the blood dropping down the drain.

Suddenly he heard his door open.

"Hey Ty! You left your door unlocked and I wanted to come see you!"
Oh crap, it was Josh!
Tyler decided he wouldn't answer. He didn't have the energy to, anyways. Maybe he would believe that he wasn't home and would just leave.

"Tyler? Where are you?" he started to run upstairs. He saw Tyler on the ground sobbing.

"TYLER!! WHAT DID YOU DO THIS FOR?" he screamed.

All Tyler could get out of his mouth was a very wrecked "go away."

"Oh my gosh, Tyler. Please tell me you're okay. I won't go away. I can't leave you." Josh sighed.

"Leave me alone."

Tyler's thoughts slowly faded away until passed out. Josh picked him up and washed all of the blood off of his wrists and took him to his bed. He sat there for two whole hours panicking waiting for him to wake up. Josh was beginning to doubt his awakening.

Tyler woke up and the first thing he did was roll his eyes at Josh. Everything in the room was still foggy to him.

"Tyler, why would you do this to yourself? Why would you tell me to leave you alone? I was only trying to help... I can't leave you alone. I can't let this happen to you." Josh stressed. His breath was heavy.

"I don't need your he-" Josh kissed him before he finished.

"What the heck?" Tyler was furious. He didn't know why either. He pushed Josh away. Tyler was too overwhelmed.

"I-I'm sorry..." Josh started to tear up.

Tyler stared at him in anger.

Josh ran away from him.
