~ Chapter 3 ~

Mini's PoV

"So, let me get this straight... You two are Gods from millenniums ago, and you were trapped inside those relics by another God who destroyed your civilization and separated you from your friends who are also trapped inside relics?" I say, summing up their story. "Yep." Tyler answers bluntly. "Holy shit..." Jonathan comments, completely in awe. "So what happened to the God that trapped you here?" Jonathan asks like a curious child. "We don't know. He could be anywhere right now." Evan states with his arms crossed. "As in, he's still alive?!" Jonathan asks in shock. "Of course he's still alive. We're Gods, remember? We're immortal." Tyler states. Jonathan and I both nod in understanding.
"Hey Craig, what do you think David will react when he finds out we found these two?" Jonathan questions with a devious smirk, pointing his thumb in the direction of our two new immortal friends. I just giggle at the thought of his stupid, goofy face gaping in shock and awe. "Well, lets go find out~" I giggle mischievously.

*When back in the city*

I drive through the city, heading towards our office so we can see if David knows anything else on these guys. I park the car in the parking lot and look back at Tyler and Evan. "Hey, uh, is there any way you can hide your, ummm, extra appendages?" I ask them. They both give me a confused look before their eyes spark with realization. "Nope. Telling us to hide our animal features is like telling you to hide your legs. We can't just make them disappear." Evan explains.
I let out a long sigh before looking around. No one is really paying any attention to us... Maybe if we get in the building fast enough no one will notice. "Alright, we need to make it into the office as fast as we can without drawing any unwanted attention. So whenever Jonathan and I let you out of the car you need to book it towards the building." I explain, earning nods from everyone. "Alright Jon, lets go." I say as I casually get out of the car, Jonathan doing the same. We open the doors for Evan and Tyler and we all run towards the office. I open the door and shoo them all in before going in myself. I lock the door and flip our sign to closed.
I turn around to see Tyler and Evan admiring all the ancient artifacts we've collected. "C'mon, you can look at the artifacts later. Right now we need to talk to David." I say as I drag the two by the wrists up the staircase to where David usually works. "Hey David! We've got some stuff for you to look at!" Jonathan calls as he leads us up the stairs. "It took you guys long enough!" David calls back with his strong Irish accent.
We make it to the top of the stairs to see David diligently working on the last relics we found, trying to figure out how old they are. "We'd like to introduce you to some new friends." I saw slowly. "Okay~ Hold on a second let me go wash my hands real quick. I got a bunch of mud on my hands while trying to clean off that ancient tablet you two recovered a few weeks ago." He says before running over to the sink, his back still pointed towards us. He washes his hands as fast as he can before turning around to face us.
"Okay, I'm ready!" He exclaims before his whole body stiffens. "Hi there~!" Tyler chirps, his tail swaying back and forth. "David... This is Tyler, and the owl is Evan." I introduce soothingly in hopes of not scaring him anymore. "C-Craig... Jon-Jonathan...! Why-Why do they-" "Ya know that trip Craig and I went on to that jungle temple? Well, these guys are the Gods of that temple, and they need our help getting their friends back." Jonathan explains. David just stands there in silence, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. "O-Okay... Um, h-how are we supposed to help?" He asks, struggling to find words. "We need to locate the temples that their friends are trapped in and release them." I answer. Tyler and Evan nod in approval while David still seems to be confused on the whole situation. He takes in a few deep breaths before relaxing. "I'll see what I can do."
