Clark's P.O.V

Aww man, I can't believe I'm actually doing this. One moment I'm telling myself that there's no way in hell I'm going to dance in front of everyone especially the uptight people Casey invites to her parties just to get Casey's party started because c'mon who'll do it if I won't.

The next thing you know I'm rolling up my sleeves to my flannel shirt and walking towards the DJ.

Turn around, you can still back out of this. Let someone else start the party or no one and this party can turn out to be a total disaster and everyone will give Casey hell for the worst party ever. She did mention she was queen bee. I can't imagine how she'll feel after this party blows up in her face. Nope. Don't feel bad... I'll just do it. What's the worst that can happen. And who wouldn't want to see me dance? I put the break in break dance. Okay you got this Clark.

Tapping the DJs shoulder I yell out the song I want. The DJs shoulders sag with relief. He nods and puts on his headphones, he gives me a thumbs up and the music blastes out of the speakers. My heart thumps with the beat as I walk towards the dance floor. I look up and meet a pair of green orbs. Her eyes fog with confusion when she sees me. I wink at her and just an inch of her lip quirks up. I would have missed it if I wasn't looking.

This hit, that ice cold
Michelle Pfeiffer, that white gold
This one for them hood girls
Them good girls straight masterpieces
Stylin', whilen, livin' it up in the city
Got Chucks on with Saint Laurent
Got kiss myself, I'm so pretty

I start moving with the song. Not to brag but I've been in dance class my whole life. That's where I met my best friend Micky. So I'm really great at dancing. Okay ok I was totally bragging.

I'm too hot (hot damn)
Called a police and a fireman
I'm too hot (hot damn)
Make a dragon wanna retire man
I'm too hot (hot damn)
Say my name you know who I am
I'm too hot (hot damn)
Am I bad 'bout that money, break it down

Okay. This is getting ridiculous. So no one's going to join me? I'm going to be dancing till this song ends all by myself and I'll be completely humiliated. I have a reputation to keep. Gotta keep girls rolling in...okay I'm not that kind of guy. I'm actually waiting for the right one. A girl who gets me and who actually cares for me. Not a girl who likes me based on looks. I know I'm sexy as hell but c'mon!...I think I just proved to myself how cocky I am. That's not healthy. I know I know I'm just thinking random thoughts so I can be distracted of how I'm completely embarrassing myself.

Girls hit your hallelujah (whoo)
Girls hit your hallelujah (whoo)
Girls hit your hallelujah (whoo)
'Cause uptown funk gon' give it to you
'Cause uptown funk gon' give it to you
'Cause uptown funk gon' give it to you
Saturday night and we in the spot
Don't believe me just watch (come on)

Peace out homies I'm done. I'm going to walk out and flip off all these mother-
I'm caught off mid-thought when I see movement to the right. I look and see Casey marching over directly towards me. She looks pissed.

Still, I can't help but to grin widely.

Casey

Biting my thumb nail I watch Clark dance. Hes really good.

Reading my thoughts Natalie clears her throat.

"Wow. Hes good, possibly the best dancer in this room"

I clench my teeth.

Natalie continues "I mean at first I thought you were a better dancer than anyone in this room but that was until he started dancing. Look at that! He landed that backflip perfectly"

Not even. His posture was sloppy.

"I'm so jealous, I wish I could do that!"

That's it. You want to see better dancing? I'll show you better dancing. I shrugged off my coat and throw it at Axel. It lands right on his face and he grumbles about how rude I am. I wave his comments and may I add his unnecessary comments away and pull my hair in a high ponytail.

"Oh no, shes putting her hair in a ponytail. Last time she did that she broke the rude lady's nose at the movie theater" Nickolaus points out.

I hand my purse to Natalie "hold this" she smirks nodding.

I march straight up to Clark and shove him aside. He stumbles a little but regains his posture. He sends me a heart stopping smile which I easily ignore and focus on showing everyone (especially Natalie) what a great dancer looks like.
