"Like a lion you ran, a goddess you rolled, like an eagle you circled, in perfect purple
So how come things move on
How come cars don't slow
When it feels like the end of my world?
When I should but I can't let you go?"

Matthew stayed in the bathroom for a longer time than he expected. He did want to leave after all the meeting members left but some were too interested in what happened to leave.

Outside the bathroom, it sounded like they were outside the door. He heard his brother, Alfred, Matthew's guardian, Francis, and his brother's guardian, Arthur. They were talking about how they could open the bathroom door.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the door, Matthew heard them. He wasn't worrying about the door being opened though, he knew it was impossible for them to open it. Instead, he was thinking of how amazing his boyfriend was and how none of this locking himself in the bathroom nonsense would've happened if he was here.

He thought about all the times they had spent together, it had only been a year since they have started dating and half of those months they didn't even spend together because of their distance, yet all those adventures he had with him, he knew, were ones he would never forget, and at that moment he wished time had gone by slow; this way he would have enjoyed the moments he spent with him even more.

He felt empty without him, he felt his world, their world, shatter and destroyed. All their hopes and dreams gone. He knew it was time to forget him. Matthew was ruining his relationship with his family and with friends by isolating himself. However, one thing was for certain, he knew he would not forget him entirely.
