As I swung my sword at Hurimu, every slash colliding with his blade i started to loose control, my body seeming to move on its own, each attack becoming more animal like, soon I was on the attack, my body seeming to go for the kill and I started to freak as I noticed my sword clashing with his, my swipes getting closer to him, and his face focused, until his sword was sent flying out of his hand, the green vine snapping and the shinny polished blade made itself a new home as it sliced into the ground and Hurimu fell back to the ground hitting his head as he grunted. as I saw the sword launch I could feel my body again, lowering my blade to rest the tip of the blade, the diamond holes now filled with the electric blue mist flowing, like a small thunderstorm. I sighed and put the blade on the table and walked over to Hurimu, "s-sorry bout that, kind of lost control there..y-you ok?" He smirked as he stood up tall and looked at me then walking over to his blade picking it up "You kidding me shiro?, Im inpressed, you are the first one to beat me in a battle of the blades." He put his blade on the table and smirked "course, I wasn't using my gem blade." I smiled and walked over to the guns, "well, guess one day I'll have to take you on that way then" Hurimu laughed as he looked at the guns. "Of course, if you think you can take me" I nodded and looked at the different guns, all different shapes and sizes, my eyes stopped on pistol that had a barrel that looked torn up and the magazine was that of a revolver but it had the style of an actual 9mm pistol, a dark neon red line flowing through the black pistol chassis, "this one.." I spoke as I picked it up walking over to a firing range looking around. "Hm, weird style you got there, but as long as it works." Hurimu walked over and watched me to make sure I knew how to fire a gun. I took a deep breathe and focused on the target, 35 yards away. I watched it as my finger slowly pulled the trigger towards me until the inside of the gun lit on fire creating a combustion as it took a bullet from one of the slots in the magazine and sent it flying out the barrel the gun moving upwards slightly as I gripped it tighter, the bullet soaring through the air until hitting the target just outside of the middle. "Nice, so you feeling comfortable with possibly the most abstract gun I've ever seen?" Hurimu walked over and looked at the target as it rolled on a wire towards us. "Yeah, think that mist sword and this gun should work.." I nodded placing the gun on the table after taking the roller magazine out. "Alright, we will get those assigned and sent to ya, but first I got to ask how come you know so much fighting stuff?" Hurimu leaned on the table looking at me puzzled. I sighed and looked around to make sure no one was around. "I um, my father use to teach me how to fight and use and adapt to different weapons when I was little..he said it was so I could protect my sister and that was three weeks before he and my mother died..guess that training wasn't enough to keep her safe though." He patted my back, "Shiro..you are fine..you did your best, you even tried giving your life to keep her safe..there isn't anything more you could have done, not to mention the bravery and courage it takes to be so wiling to give your own life..look how bout we try that cage match? So you can release some stress, I'll even go up against you." I sighed and nodded. "Alright...but if I am to let out stress...I can't promise I'll go easy.." Hurimu smiled and lead me towards the cage, no weapons. "Wouldn't have it any other way." As I stepped in the cage there was a roar or the troopers laughing and talking down to me. But it all stopped to silence as Hurimu walked in. "Ladies and gentlemen I know I don't do it much, but today I will go against the new recruit, hand to hand combat." He dropped his jacket to now only pants, shoes, and a tank-top and I sighed taking off my jacket, my white shirt already dusty, my face sweating and Hurimu tossed me gloves. "You will need these, since your gem...it takes the life force by gem contact...so just to make sure im safe, wear those please." I nodded and as I slipped the gloves on I relaised what happened to that military guy when he landed on me. I lifted my hands looking at Hurimu, this was it, my turn to show everyone that I belong here. Hurimu lifted his hands and we slowly walked in a circle, distanced from eachother as I watched and studied how he moved looking for an entrance. Hurimu smirked and charged at me, moving in mulitple directions as if a snake chasing a mouse. But as he went for the strike I lifted my fist with as much force as I could release colliding with his stomach, sending him to a forcefull retreat gripping his stomach slightly. "Did you see that??" "How could he see the boss's movements, he is too fast." I listened to the crowd as I looked at Hurimu, he was whiping sweat off of his forhead smirking at me. "Good hustle." I looked at him as my red eyes stared him down and I nodded, what no one had ever seen is that my teeth where sharp, and ready like those of wolves. loud clashes roared through the air, it was time for the fighter to be released. And it was, my fists soaring through the air colliding with Hurimu, his kicks and punches colliding with me. Finally the dust settled and we both where a bit apart from eachother, I was on all fours like a wolf, Hurimu was on a knee before we both coughed up blood and passed out.
