Gems Of Fate

Huriumu's choices

Back when he was still just a kid..Hurimu was happy all the time, had a mother, a father, and two siblings an older brother and older sister who always looked after him. But behind close doors it wasn't always as perfect as people thought it to be.

"Hurimu!, Let's get going, we got to get to shopping before the store closes, we still need some supplies." Hurimu walked down the stairs of his house, smiling as every kid does. "Ok mom!, I'm on my way down." he always loved his mother, he wanted to grow big and help people smile, just as she always did for him, he loved his pops too, but his dad was always out for work with the military government. As he fumbled down the steps he smiled at his mom who looked at him smiling and grabbed her purse as they walked out the front door. Hurimu's brother and sister where already by the car joking around waiting for them and just as they got down the steps Hurimu's brother picked him up putting him in the car seat, "alright lil' bro, let's get you strapped up and ready to go." his brother always helped get Hurimu in the seat, and after that they all got in and his mother drove them to the store. "alright so we need three things today, let's see how fast we can find them, okay?" his mom looked back at the three of them smiling and putting the car in park. "Yeah! we got this ma" His brother was already getting Hurimu out of his seat and his sister was waiting for all of them to get out. she was impatient but silent and tried to be kind. "come on you two, we need to get this done before closing time." she already had a cart waiting and put Hurimu in it as their mom locked the car. They all walked in to the store together and started to walk up and down the aisles looking for the three groceries they needed. As they got to an aisle there was an older man there in a coat and a hat and the all froze as he turned and lunged towards them shouting. "LOOK OUT!, THE GOVERNMENT'S GOT ALL THE TABS ON US, THEY ARE GOING TO GET INTO YOUR BRAINN!!!!!" the man soon ran off after that as some security walked up and started to case him as he shouted more and more. "are you three all right?" Hurimu's mother looked at all three of them checking on each of their well-being. "y-yea mom, we all good" his brother was smiling and walked ahead grabbing some items off the self. "look we got all the stuff so let's get on out of here."

As they walked out of the store Hurimu's mom walked up to the car to unlock it when the sky got dark and a flash of light sent her flying back on to the ground in front of the kids. "MOM!!" the three kids ran to her and checked on her, when they heard their dad's voice, sounding cold, heartless, like he had lost all sense of being a human. "Dumb broad, I told you never to take the kids out of the house.." they looked at him scared, his eyes giving an icy stare that nearly made them freeze, his steps sounding like the ground was ready to break. Hurimu looked as his brother and sister stood up crying, stepping in front of him and the steaming body that use to be their mother. "Hurimu...run, get away from here and never look back...find a new home.. It's time we stopped dad..." his brother and sister stood not looking back and Hurimu looked at their arms noticing they had some weird symbols, his brother and sister had half of a nuclear symbol on each of their arms and they took a deep breathe and Hurimu turned and ran as they jumped at their father, his eyes widening as he couldn't shake them off and the ground under them seemed to fold up and covered the three as a bright flash went off inside.. leaving nothing but smoke and cracked concrete falling in small pieces in the sky. Hurimu kept running  until he reached a giant ship, cracked and broken and he walked inside looking around as he found a bed and tried to lay down and sleep.

Hurimu woke up at his desk in the captains quarters, he sighed as he looked a picture of his family on his desk and stood up gripping his coat and looked out  the window to see Shiro training with the fire arms. "I know it is a lot for me to ask.. but tomorrow we need to take charge my new found friend. It will help you, me, and Kiumi get some closer if we just take out the military force's general.. he sighed and walked back to his desk looking at the pictures  and files about the military base and sighed. A knock on his door he looked up speaking. "come in.." a girl in a black hoodie walked in, her face hidden and he rubbed his eyes as she closed the door not speaking. "I know you don't remember much, but to unlock my friends full potential and anger at the military...we need you to act brainwashed and attack him tomorrow.. hopefully it will help him fight so we can win, and it might help you regain some of your old memories." Hurimu sighed as he stood up and the girl nodded walking to the door. "ok..." the mysterious girl walked out closing the door and Hurimu sighed looking out the window. "tomorrow friend, the real battle starts tomorrow I hope you are really ready for a big fight.." Shiro was back at the practice dummy with the sword slicing and fighting his movements fast and animal like. "you don't know it yet, but that gem also holds a few secrets that you will find out later on friend.." he quietly spoke to himself before walking out the door and to the cafeteria for some food.
