Merlin's POV

I admire the dragon before me. Rough black skin lines it's exquisite form until its met in the middle fading into a gorgeous ash grey. I recognized her immediately there is no way I was mistaken.

"Lynia" I whispered. She looked towards me for a moment she relaxes but then immediately her expression changes to one of anger. She lurches forward letting out a gut retching roar.

"Everyone fall back!" Arthur shouts. All the Camelot Knights backed away my Knights and I holding our ground.

"No!" I screamed unordinary loud drawing the attention of Lynia. Arthur and the Knights all look at me in confusion. I can't show them I'm a dragon lord but they are at least capable of knowing I know this dragon.

"Lynia! This is not you!" Her eyes remain fixed on me her face void of emotion.

"Merlin what are you doing?!" I hear Arthur shout from behind.

"Markus is controlling you!" Hatred filled her eyes at the mention of his name. She roared once more, her eyes once again became clear of emotion and she charged forward reaching out her neck to grab at the Knights. They sucked out of the way. Arthur pulls my mother towards the Camelot border much to her disliking. He asks her to stay where she is to stay safe, she reluctantly agrees. Olivia joins her encase Lynia tries to attack, she calls Bleddyn to there side to protect them from any other dangers.  Lynia whips around once more to face the Knights and I swinging her tail to hit the Camelotians. Arthur, Gwaine, Percival, Elyan and Leon are thrown back by the impact knocking all but Percival unconscious. Although not knocked out Percival remained in a dazed state. Lancelot avoided the tail and ran to my side.

"Lynia!" I shout at the top of my lungs. She throws her head towards me letting out a low growl. I begin to chant well more command in the dragon tongue that she stops. She shakes her head and let's out a terrible screech. For a moment her eyes become their usual honey brown.

"Merlin..." She says in a low voice.

"Lynia you need to stop this, please you are hurting my friends" she looks up at me pain clear in her eyes. She's fighting for control of her own mind.

"I can't- I can't control it Merlin, It's Markus" I meet her pained gaze.

"What spell did he use?" I ask. She shakes her head for a moment.

"Some kind of obedience spell..." She struggles out.

"I can counter act it!" I search my head for any spell that could counter act an obedience spell. During my time thinking Lynia's eyes turn back the the bright glowing blue. She jumps forward to grab me, I move gracefully out of the way. I find the spell and begin to chant, I can see the struggle unfold in front of me. She shakes her head back and forth and let's out loud cries, I am tempted to stop but know I need to continue. Once I finish Lynia is lying on the hard ground breathing heavily. Behind me I hear a grunt and turn to see Arthur slowly rising to his feet holding his head. He looks up and pauses, his eyes shift to Lynia and back to me.

"What the hell happened?!" I let out a long sigh.

"Well prat, you were knocked out by the dragon so the Knights and I helped to calm her" he looks at me once more before speaking.

"You? You calmed the dragon down?" I nod my head.

"I told you before Arthur, I am a man of many talents". A large lopsided grin appears on my face before I am pliers down by my sister and mother.

"Oh my gods Merlin! Thank goodness you are alright!" My mother and Olivia have there arms wrapped around me so tight I couldn't breathe.

"Um- guys, can't breathe" Olivia released first noticing her mistake before me, of course my mother remains clinging to me. I look up to see the rest of the Camelotians standing up but they all had confused looks on there faces. It takes me a moment before I realize why.
