Montana's pov
The next morning when I woke up, I checked my phone to see if Chris had texted me back. But he didn't. I set my phone back on my night stand and sat up. Jacob was gone. All of his blankets were folded and sat in the corner. Where was he? I turned and sat on the edge of my bed, wiping the sleep from my eyes.
After a stretch and a yawn or two, Jacob appeared in my door way carrying a tray with pancakes and orange juice. "For me?" I smiled.
He nodded, "yep. Your mom did the cooking but I had the idea."
"Breakfast in bed? I love it. Thank you," I leaned in to give him a kiss but he stopped me.
"Woah morning breath, brush your teeth first then a kiss." he said playfully.
"Shut up." I said, kissing his cheek. He gave me the tray of food and sat down next to me.
"What's the plan for today?" he asked me.
"Well," I started, taking a drink of orange juice. "I think me and Bailey are going to do some Christmas shopping." He furrowed his eyebrows.
"What about me? What am I supposed to do all day?""I don't know, you can hang out with the guys. I really need to go shopping. Can you believe that Christmas is less than a week away?" I beamed. He gave me a smile.
"Yeah, crazy." he stood up and kissed my cheek.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"I need to do some Christmas shopping myself." he said before leaving the room.
After I finished my food, I got dressed and walked over to Baileys.
"Hey bestie! Ready to go shopping?" she asked with an overly excited smile on her face.

Once we were at the mall for a while, I was going crazy trying to figure out what to get Jacob. I had already got everyone else's but his!!
I even got Chris something and I told myself not to but I did anyways. When we passed the sports store there was a booth set up outside that was selling hockey tickets for his favorite team, so I got him a couple. I got Bailey a bracelet and matching earrings and for Crawford, I got him a new ps3 game. For my mom I got her new kitchen utensils and a new cookbook that she's been obsessing over.
The only person I had left was Jacob and I was clueless on what to get him. I asked him what he wanted but he was no help. He just said 'surpise me'.
"So you have no idea what Jacob likes?" Bailey asked me. We were sat in the food court eating Panda Express.
"No. Maybe I should just get him a tie. Guys like ties, right?"
Bailey just laughed at me. "I got a tie for my dad, Monty." I rolled my eyes.
"This is hopeless!" I put my head in my hands and sighed.
"You know what guys do like?" Bailey asked. I looked up and she pointed behind me. I turned around and seen a Victoria's Secret cutout. My stomach clenched.
"No."
"Yes! Come on. He'll love it way more than any other present!!"
"Bailey, no. I don't want to do that." I said and she looked confused.
"You don't want to buy that or you don't want to do that with him?"
"Both." I shook my head and took a drink.
"I thought you liked him?" she offered.
"I do,"
"I'm sensing a but?" she interrupted.
"but Chris."
When I said that she basically squealed so loud that plenty of people turned their heads to us. "You still like him?!" she asked.
"I think so."
Here is the chapter you guys deserved so much! I'm honestly so bad at scheduling. I need to get one though planned out for this book so I can finish it for you guys!
