Some things never change

Five years later

Jade: Hubby, can you come here for a second?

Darius: Yes, what wrong?

Jade: nothing, I pulled out a gift from behind me. Surprise!!!!!! Happy Anniversary, I love you.

Darius P.O.V.

I love my wife, she wants a child but how can I give her a child when I'm not sexual attracted to her.

Well tonight my wife is accepting an award for her book, From the time within, its a sad romantic about a couple who is separated by countries, but everyday they write letters to each other and never send them. One day they finally are able to meet up, the time is short, in the end they end up passing away. The letters that both of them written are discovered by two random strangers who end up coming together and writing about their lives, through the letters.

I'm so proud of my wife, I love her, but I miss Amber, she left so suddenly and for five years. She probably married her boyfriend in Taipei by now. I'm happy with Jade, things couldn't be better. I'm up for a promotion at work, Jade has her book out, and we just bought a new house.

Jade's P.O.V.

I miss my friend, we used to stay up together and watch all the Harry Potter movies together and talk about boys and our troubles. 

Anyway..........Tonight I am accepting a Stellar for Best Book, and then tomorrow Darius and I are moving into a new house and hopefully tonight I can "put it on him."

We enter the place which is absolutely amazing!!! There's a grand staircase on either side of the room held up by white and gold marble floors. The stair case lead all the way up to the second level, into the room and there's a grand ballroom, it looks amazing. The place decorated in satin reds and purples, candles everywhere and table decorated with ivory and red tablecloths.

After I accepted my award, we had a reception where everyone could meet me. I can see Darius getting annoyed with it all, so we left a little after. 

We arrive home and he tosses his keys on the counter by the door like always and takes off his tie. When I go to kiss him, he turns as his cell phone rings, he answers while I go into the room. I have liked Darius for a long time and I thought he liked me to when he started asking me to hang out more and eventually proposing to me. Now I'm thinking was all that a lie.

Darius P.O.V

Yes!!!! I got the promotion, thank you Mr. Johns. I hang up and look around for Jade, then I hear the water running n the shower and I undress and join her, I think I'll try something tonight.

Jade P.O.V

I hop in the shower and cry silently, my husband isn't attracted to me, he hasn't kissed me since our wedding day  and we never had sex, I'm still a virgin a 28 year old virgin. I lost my husband, I was so happy when he proposed to me, I practically showered him with kisses.

I hear the bathroom door open and i go quiet and in walks Darius and he steps into the shower with me.

Jade: What are you doing?

Darius: Can't I kiss my wife?

Jade: Darius, you haven't kissed me since our wedding.

Darius: (He puts his hands around her waist, she stops washing herself and just stands there holding the soap) I married you, didn't I. I wanted you always and tonight I want this (kisses her shoulder and neck).

Jade: Darius, I'm scared, what if it hurts.

Darius: It wont baby, I promise you. Tonight all you'll feel is pleasure

Jade P.O.V

I'm not sure what has gotten into Darius, but I like it. Tonight we might actually have sex and man, I always wondered what the big fuss about it is. Dani tells me its amazing and my other friend Kelli says its like fireworks on the Fourth of July.
