That evening
Jade's P.O.V.
Ring ring ring, ring ring. My phone was going off in my pocket.
"Hello, Mom."
"Jade, are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine."
"Good, and Pearl?"
"We're fine, she's with Ms. Victoria"
"Good, then I'm not worried. Jade, I know you, you will fight for whatever comes in between you and the ones you care about. I love you sweetie."
Love you too, Mom."
"Hello, Ms. Weston."
"What are you doing here you homewrecker, and with those." She puts the phone down and walks backwards towards the knives. She smiles something strange and sees a gas container in her hand. "Get out of my house!!" She's screams in the phone. Amber stabs her, Jade yells into the phone and the line then goes dead."
"What's wrong Jade?" Zi Lee comes down the stairs with a worried look on his face.
"My Mother, somethings happen to her." I can't believe Amber came to see my Mother. I definitely heard her voice over the phone. I turn on the T.V. and on the news is......
Zi Lee's P.O.V
I run downstairs to see what's gotten into Jade, shes screaming and crying.
"What's wrong Jade?"
"I think my Mother's been murdered."
"What, are you sure?"
"Zi" She comes into my open arms and crys on my chest. We turn on the T.V. and the headline on the news is......
"A local house fire has left a woman dead." I see Jade about to faint, I run and get her some water as she cries.
"No, no, no!!! My Mom never did anything wrong, why did she have to die?"
"This is a terrible blow to the community as Ms. Weston was an inspiration to the kids here and she helped out anyway she could. Our prayers are with Jade and her husband."
I turn off the T.V. and carry Jade upstairs to the bedroom and just lay her on the bed, as I turn to leave she asks me to stay with her. Soon she's fast asleep on my chest, she cries in her sleep.
Darius P.O.V.
Why am I here. What is going on.
"This just in a local house fire has left a woman dead." I can't believe what I'm seeing. Jade must be a wreck.
Amber's P.O.V.
"Now that I have the money, all I have to do is cover my tracks"
