I woke up in an empty room, lit by candles. I am tied to a chair and there's a bucket with some chains and black whips in.

Amber's P.O.V.

"What do you mean you have him?"

"We have Darius here, your precious boyfriend."

"Don't do anything to him, he's C.E.O. of a major construction company."

"We're not going to kill him, we're just going to ask him some questions." They hang up.

I need to find out who ha him and what do they want. Just then I hear a knock on my door, I go to open it.

"Surprise" Wham. "You have some explaining to do." She said as I picked myself off the floor.

Jade's outfit above

Jade's P.O.V.

"You are going to tell me everything you know."

She looks scared and pissed, maybe that's cause I punched her in the nose. Oh well, she deserves it and right now, I want to know some things.  I walk to the kitchen and get her some tissues and pull out the first aid kit and we sit on the couch so I can patch her up.

"Talk Amber."

"What you want to know"

"Why did those men take my future Mother-in-law and my daughter to an unknown place in the middle of the night"

"First of all its only 9:00 p.m and number 2 I don't know what you're talking about."

I'm pissed out at this point and she knows it, so she gets up and backs away from me, but I catch her and corner her to the wall. 

"Now you're going to tell me the truth and leave nothing out."

"Ok fine I'll tell you. Can you let me go first." I back up and go to the couch to finish patching up her nose.

"Talk, NOW"

"Ok fine."

"Darius, is involved in the mafia." I laugh because that just sounds crazy, the mafia don't exist here, not in America.

"Its no joke Jade."

"But they don't exist."

"I'm telling you they do"

"Now can I finish?" I nod letting her continue. 

"A couple ears ago he borrowed some money from them and that's how he was promoted to C.E.O. of the company. He wanted to be with me so badly that he thought I left for Taipei because he didn't have a lot of money. So in order to impress me he told me the next day that he had money, I didn't believe him at the time I was trying to get over him, for your sake."

"For my sake?" I stood up and cleaned up the paper and tissues. "So he was cheating on me even before we got married?"

"Yes, I'm so sorry and as your friend, I wanted to tell you, but you're so fragile. I couldn't bear to ruin our friendship and your heart."

"Continue"

"So, when he called me a few weeks later, he told me he got married to you and I'll admit I did get upset because I thought he would wait a few more years for me, but I guessed wrong. The mafia wanted their money back after he had become a huge success, but Darius kept pushing them off and well soon his interest to them was stacked up so high that well, he's in deep water. He used part of that money to start plans on building a casino in Great Lakes."

"But that's where his parents are."

"I know." She said turning from me. "But he was instructed to do so by them, so he gave the people there 24 hours to pack their stuff and get out. The people are now mad and mafia is wanting their money and you just had to ruin it" She said standing up to me" If you hadn't have married him, I he wouldn't have to borrow money from them" 

"Look you left and you knew I had a crush on him since forever and now, you're saying this is my fault. If I were you, I wouldn't have left, if you wanted him, I would have given you and him a chance, I seen the way he looked at you back then." She turns and moves towards the kitchen. 

"I WATCHED HIM AND THE WAY HE WAS ALWAYS STARING AT YOU, I ALWAYS WANTED THAT, BUT THEN YOU LEFT AND I FIGURED IT WAS MY CHANCE. So we started dating and eventually he proposed. BUT THEN YOU HAD TO COME BACK AND MAKE HIM LEAVE ME AND HIS DAUGHTER. WHAT AM I GOING TO SAY TO HER WHEN SHE GROWS UP?" I turn to leave, but not before this.
