What is the commotion?
The whole earth is falling

Mother Earth is so depressed

Nature is losing it's precious affluence
Like a house without it's fence

The rain is filling up your front yard
Where are the lush green trees
That suck up the water on the streets
Now the dirty roads are flooding
It looks like we are all drowning

Try to breathe, try to breathe
The air smelled like sweating feet
Is it because of the garbage I saw
Or the man smoking some tobacco?
We are the one who caused pollution
Now it's up to us to find a solution.

A/N: Hi guys! This poem is actually a song but I don't know how to make a tone (or melody or whatever you call it) for the verses. (The chorus has one already.) This was supposed to be for a band because they want me to be their composer for a battle of the bands contest. Unfortunately, they got disqualified so my song was never played. ☹️ I can't believe I'm only writing about this now because this happened months ago! Oh well...
