Chapter 10

Abigail's Pov
"Is three enough?" Kira asked
"Depends on how many cameras they have. But I think so." Stileś said
"Are we really doing this?" Lydia asked
"We're doing it. Tonight." Scott said
"But isn't it kind of dangerous?" Liam asked as I gripped his hand tightly
"It's incredibly dangerous. And borderline idiotic." Stiles said
"Have you guys done something like this before?" Liam asked
"Something dangerous? Or something idiotic?" Stiles asked
"I think it's a yes to both." Kira said
"That doesn't surprise me" I mumbled
"You don't have to be part of it if you don't want to." Scott said to me and Liam
"I'm not scared." Liam said
"I'm not letting you guys do this by yourselves" I said
"Then you're borderline idiotic." Stiles said
"If we do this, we don't know what's coming for us. You know that, right?"
"How do we even know something's definitely coming?" Kira asked
"Because the tape from Garrett's bag said visual confirmation required." Scott said
"Simon said the same thing. He couldn't get paid by The Benefactor until he had proof that you guys were dead." Stiles said
"So the idea is, what if you kill someone on the dead pool, but you can't send the proof?" Scott said
"You don't get paid." Kira and I said
"But how does that get us any closer to The Benefactor?" Liam asked
"He still needs to know if the target is really dead." Scott said
"Especially if it's someone high on the list." Stiles said
"So, if he wants visual confirmation... " Liam began
"He's going to have to come get it himself." Scott finished.

"Are you guys totally sure about this?" Liam asked pacing
" I think Liam's kind of nervous. Maybe you should tell him it's going to be all right." Kira said
" It's going to be all right." Scott said looking at Kira
"So, you've done this before, right?" Liam asked Ms Yukimura
"I've seen it done." She replied
"Is that just as good?" Liam asked
"No." She once again replied
"Mom, you're not inspiring confidence." Kira said
"Good. This is a terrible idea."Ms Yukimura said
"Do you want us to do it without you?" Kira said
"Put your hand over his heart." Ms Yukimura said
"Hold on. What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?" Scott asked
"It might feel like you're dreaming." Ms Yukimura said
"Good dreams or bad?" Scott asked
"I suppose that depends on you."Ms Yukimura said

"Is that supposed to look like that?" Liam asked looking at the blacked out camera screen.
"No. No, it's not." Stiles said
"Where is that?" Kira asked
"The roof. Someone's gonna have to check it out." Stiles said
"I'll go." Kira said
"Whoa, whoa. This might not just be a malfunction." Stiles said
"That's why I'm bringing this." Kira said pulling out her katakana
"I'm coming with you." Liam said
"Me too" I said
"Nope your staying" Liam said walking away
"Okay. And you're both coming right back. Immediately." Stiles said as I tried to follow Liam but Stiles grabbed my arm
"Kids." Stiles sighed pulling me back in the room.

Come on, come on. Answer the phone. Answer the phone, Argent. Come on, Argent, answer the phone. Why are you not answering the phone?" Stiles said talking into the phone as he pulled me along.
"I was right. Stiles, get out of here." Chris said sliding in the room
"Get out of the way, Stiles. I'm taking the body." Some blonde said
"Why? Visual confirmation?" Stiles said
"Don't worry, handsome. I'm not The Benefactor." The blonde said
"Then what do you want with the body?" Chris asked
"I wish I could tell you." She said as Chris pulled a gun on her
"I always forget you carry two." She said
"Back off!" Chris yelled
"You sure you can pull the trigger fast enough?" The blonde replied
I don't want to." Chris said
"You're not going to kill me." She said
"I'm not going to let you take his body." Chris said
"Okay, well, obviously, you guys have a lot to talk about, so, maybe I saw some coffee, a vending machine outside." Stiles said
"Listen to me, Kate. We have a plan." Chris said. Oh this is Kate I've heard about her.
"If killing Scott was part of it, you're worse than me." Kate said
"He's telling the truth. We're trying to get to The Benefactor." Stiles said
"If you didn't notice, you're on that list too. And you're worth more than most." Chris said
"That's why I'm here." Kate said
"Then back off and let us do what we planned. Take the Berserkers, and go. Kate, please. We have a plan." Chris said, she listened and left.

Well the plan didn't work Keira's mum got hurt but a least no one died.
"Hey you ok?" Liam said walking up to me
"Yeah you?"
"Yeah" he said hugging me
"So this is really bad timing and all but, when I was fighting that thing on the roof... I just kept thinking about the one thing something I would have regretted not doing if I died." Liam said scratching the back of his neck nervously
"What is that?" I asked
" not asking you to be my girlfriend officially" Liam said
"Is this your way of asking me if I want to be your girlfriend Liam?" I asked smiling
"Yes" he said nervously. I pulled Liam down to kiss me.
"Does that answer your question?" I asked pulling away from the kiss
"Yeah definitely" he said going in for another kiss causing me to giggle.
