Chapter 15

A/n if you didn't read the last chapter you should know that Liam and Abigail said I love you to each other.
Abigail's pov
Liam, Mason an I are in the weight room. Liam and Mason are doing weights. I'm texting my mum trying to explain why I wasn't home last night without actually telling her what happened last night, it's not going well.
"That's a lot of weight" Mason said causing me to look up before the bing of my phone makes me look back down.
"I'm trying to get ready for the game tomorrow." Liam said
"You need a spot?" Mason asked
"No. Do you?" Liam said
"This is my warm-up, you ass." Mason said.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Liam said
"I'm spotting you." Mason said.
"I said I don't need one." Liam replied
"Are you kidding me? This is like 300 pounds. You're gonna kill yourself." Mason said my phone started ringing
"It's my mum I'll be back" I said exiting the room.
"Mum, I'm at school" I said into the phone
"where were you last night I got home and you weren't there" she shouted into the phone.
"I'm sorry mum I was at a friends. I forgot to call" I said
"Don't scare me like that ok. If your not coming home call or text or leave a note on the fridge, send a pigeon with a note on its foot for all I care. Just tell me" she said
"Ok I will I'm really really sorry mum" I said
"Ok are you going to be home tonight?"
"I don't know, I might come home or I'll just sleep at a friends.I'll text you later and tell you ok? I won't be home tomorrow though because there's a lacrosse game. " I said
"Okay hunny. I love you"
"I love you to mum bye"
"Bye" I heard her say before I hang up.
"Hey where'd Mason go?" I asked Liam walking back in the weight room
"He said he had something to do" Liam said sitting up on the bench
"You sure? He didn't say he had do to anything before" I said
"He just remembered" Liam said
"Ok" I said smiling at Liam
"So what did your mum want?" Liam asked grabbing my waist and pulling me so I was straddling him.
"She wanted to know where I was all night" I said giggling. Liam smiled
"What did you tell her?"
"I was with a friend"
"She buy it?"
"Absolutely" I said kissing him.
"I also might have said that I probably wouldn't be home tonight" I said
"Really?" Liam asked
"Yep" I said as Liam pulled me in for another kiss.
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" Liam said as the bell rang
"I hate school" Liam said
"Come on we got to get to class" I said giggling.

Mason Hewitt walks in Liam's room and drops a bunch of new video games next to Liam."I know something's going on. I know you don't want to talk about it. But you're still my best friend. And, um... considering the fact that the last good friend I made turned out to be a professional killer, I'm thinking that I don't have too many options for new ones. So when you're ready to talk, talk. Until then, I know I can kick your ass at at least one of these games." Mason said
"Never played this one." Liam said. Picking up a game.
"Aww" I said from the bathroom I had just walked out of.
"Jesus Christ" Mason said jumping and putting a hand on his heart.
"You scared the shit out of me, what do you live here now?" Mason asked
"Nope. Actually I was just leaving" I said picking my school bag up off the floor.
"You don't have to" Liam said
"No, no you guys have your boy time. Call me if you need me" I said kissing Liam's head
"Bye boys" I said walking out of the room.
"Hey mum" I said into the phone
"Hey Hunny" she said
"What time do do finish work?"
"About ten minutes why?"
"You and me are going out for dinner tonight just us" I said
"Really? I would love that" mum said
"Good because it's happening. See you in ten" I said hanging up the phone.
Scott's pov
I come back to consciousness being held aloft by a berserker. It throws me against the loft door, and I fall hard. Kate kicks Kira, sending her flying, which gets Me to my feet.Kate and I fight, while Kira takes on the berserker. She grabs a length of chain, but the berserker just uses it to haul her in close and hit her harder. Kate knocks Me down and shoves me against a beam. I watche as the berserker holds up Kira by the hair.
"What do you want from us?" I asked
"I want a little bit of insight, Scott." Kate said
"To what?"I asked
"My family. The Argent family has been around for over 400 years. A powerful, wealthy, aristocratic family of werewolf hunters. But yet somehow, in less than a year, this great family is decimated by a teenage boy. So my question is simple. What the hell in so special about Scott McCall?" Kate says.
"You want me? Take me. Just me." I say
"No, we're all going. We're all going to church! " Kate says before roaring

The next day
Liam's pov
"Everything's fine. I got a text from him this morning and he said he might be a little late." Stiles said to me talking about Scott and kira
"Well, how late is late? Is he always late? We're playing Devenford Prep again and this time it's an actual game. He shouldn't be late." I said walking out of the locker room.
"Who shouldn't be late?" Coach asked
" Scott and Kira. They might be slightly late." Stiles said
"Slightly late is still late. What are they doing?" Coach asked
"They're doing something that's going to make them slightly late." Stiles said
"What could Scott and Kira be doing right now that's more important than playing in the first game?" Coach said
"Oh, Coach." Stiles said

"Okay, what's really going on? Are you nervous about the full moon? It's not for another 24 hours. Liam, you're gonna be fine. Okay? Just try not to rage out on anyone." Stiles said
"You're not worried?" I asked
"Okay, I'm mildly concerned. Mildly." Stiles said
"We're gonna lose without him." I said
"What's wrong?" Abigail said walking up to me
"Scott and kira aren't here. We're going to lose" I Said
"Hey don't think like that you could still win. Your just as good as Scott" Abigail said Holding my face.
"No I'm not" I said
"Yes you are" Abigail said before kissing me.
"Good luck out there. I'm going to find a seat" Abigail said pecking my lips before leaving.
"We're going to lose" I said
"No, we're not. We can be just as good without Scott. Okay? I've been practicing. Let me tell you something. I'm getting good. Really good." Stiles said

"All right. Neither of them are answering. I gotta go see what's going on." Stiles said
"You're leaving? What are you going to tell Coach?" I asked.
"Stupid! Stupid old... Uh, you don't tell him anything. Okay? Liam, you're gonna be okay. All right? " stiles says walking off. I go back to the field. Devenford gets the ball and makes a drive across the field. I go to intercept, but I see a berserker kill another player and freezes. The other team runs right by me and scores
"Liam, for the love of God, move! " coach yells but I'm still frozen.
"It's okay Liam" I hear Abigail's voice in the crowd. I look in the crowd see her then I start running again.
