We won! We won! I couldn't believe it! I had just graduated from high school just a few months ago and now we had won a national singing show "The Sing Off"! It was unbelievable!

I had been a crying mess on stage. I hugged so many people, I wasn't even sure who! Well, except for Scott of course. How can you not know those hugs. Ha!

After, there had been lots of sparkling cider since we were still underage, texting family and friends and just trying to stop smiling. We finally got back to our rooms to collapse and try to get some sleep.

"Scott?" I whispered. "It really happened didn't it?"

With a small chuckle, "Yeah, we won Mitchie. We did it!" whispered Scott.

I finally managed to close my eyes.

I was moving my arm to his neck, slowly pulling our bodies together. I tilted my head back. I could see his soft lips moving closer to mine...

I bolted upright, sweat dripping off my body, shaking. "Oh my god!" I breathed. Luckily Scott, on his bed, was out like a light. I quietly got up and walked to the bathroom, splashed some cold water on my face and stared at myself in the mirror.

No. This can't happen. This is sick, not allowed. Not in this country. Not anymore.
