"I'm so tired of this life," the boy said, gripping his girlfriend's hand tightly, "I'm so tired of stress, pressure and expectations. I'm tired of thinking, and I'm tired of fighting."
The girl stayed silent for a while. Suddenly, her face lit up.
"I know!" She said, "Let's run away!"
"R-run away?"
"Yeah, let's get away from everyone and everything. Let's break some rules and be spontaneous!"
"We can't just run away!" The boy exclaimed.
"Not forever, silly, we'll come back after a while...maybe." She said.
The boy still looked doubtful. The girl gave him a look.
"You know you need a break, and so do I. We only live once, so let's make it memorable."
The boy thought it over, then he smiled at her.
"Whatever. Let's go be crazy!"
They smiled and kissed briefly, before grabbing each other's hands and getting out of there.

A few hours later, they were lying on the overgrown grass in a small park, watching cars go by.
"I wish we could stay here forever, like this. No more worries, no more expectations..." The boy said in a dreamy tone of voice.
"Be careful what you wish for," the girl told him jokingly, "What if we end up rooted to the ground here forever?"
"I think it would start to suck after a while, being in the same place forever." He told her.
"But let's just forget about the here and now for a bit," she said, seriously.
"Okay." The boy said, and rolled onto his back. The girl did the same.
"Are we seriously going to watch clouds right now?" She asked, "Isn't that a bit, you know, cliché?"
"Who cares?" He said, totally relaxed for the first time in months, "Sometimes cliché love is the very, very best."
"That one looks like a clown." She pointed at the sky.
"What, are you blind? That is most definitely not a clown."
"Oh, yeah, then what is it?"
"A tree with a moustache." He said.
"A tree? With a moustache? If I'm blind, then you're delusional."
"No, a real leafy moustache. He has to water it each day to keep it nice and green."
"What, like this?" She asked, picking a twig with some leaves up from the ground, and holding it under her nose.
"No," the boy said, taking the leafy twig from her and lightly tickling her neck, "More like this..."
She giggled, and tried to swat him away, but her attempts were futile. People driving by shook their heads and smiled at the couple who had let go of the past and the future, and only knew about the present and each other. For the boy and the girl, in that moment, it was all they needed.
