"I'll stay awake, cause the dark's not taking prisoners tonight."
The team were slumped around in the quinjet, defeated. The Maximoff witch had gotten to them, leaving them broken inside. Clint, being the one who was most stable at the time, was flying the jet away from the broken town.
"The news is loving you guys. No one else is." Maria's voice echoed out around the plane, revealing what they already knew. "There's been no official call for Banner's arrest," She paused, knowing Bruce would be listening, "But it's up in the air."
"Stark Relief Foundation?" Tony asked, stepping up to the control panel.
"Already on the scene. How's the team?"
Tony swallowed. "Everyone's..." He sighed, deciding not to lie. "We've taken a hit. We'll shake it off" I hope, were the next words he never said.
"Well, for now I'd stay in stealth mode," Maria advised, "And away from here."
"So, run and hide?"
"Until we can find Ultron... I" She sighed, "I don't have a lot to offer."
"Neither do we." Tony sighed, looking around at his team mates. He clicked a button on the panel, shutting Maria off. He put his hand on Clint's shoulder. "Hey, you wanna switch out?"
"No, I'm good." Clint replied, keeping his eyes on the sky. "If you wanna get some kip, nows a good time. We're still a few hours out."
"A few hours from where?"
"A safe house."

Ella looked over to the silver haired man she was walking with. Pietro offered to walk with her as she went through the facility that was once her home. In her rush to get away from the HYDRA base, she had forgotten Lion. Eventually, they found her old room. White padded cells covered the walls and a small brick like bed sat against the back of the tiny room. Knocked onto the floor, sat a tattered lion. Ella picked up the stuffed toy, holding it to her chest, as she sat down on the hard bed. Pietro lent against the wall, watching the girl.
"You know," He said, causing her to look up, "Back when HYDRA ran this place, Wanda and I agreed to be tested on. Strucker gave us these powers but he never hurt us. I used to hear your screams, we both did." Ella avoided his calculating eyes, looking down at Lion instead. "Why did you scream?"
"Disobeyed." The words came out a whisper. Pietro sat down on the bed next to his ghost, noticing fat droplets of water dropping down on to her pale pink dress. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug.
"When Wanda and I ran away, I came back here looking for you. But I couldn't find you; you were just too well hidden." Ella shrugged off his arms, she was too dangerous.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Pietro asked, concerned.
"Danger... dangerous." She whispered, stumbling over her words a little in her upset.
"Not, dangerous. Beautiful." He pressed a kiss to her head, before leading her out of the room. Ella smiled at the man, happy that someone didn't see her as dangerous.

Dawn rose as the quinjet landed on the farm. The team stepped out, led by Clint. The walked towards a quaint house, abandoning the jet.
"What is this place?" Thor asked as they walked into the house.
"A safe house." Tony said, matter-of-factly, causing Thor to glare at his back.
"I hope." Clint muttered under his breath. "Honey, I'm home!" He called out to the seemingly empty house. A woman appeared from around the corner, holding drawn pictures. A surprised smile grew on her face. "Hi." He walked over to the pregnant woman, kissing her cheek. "Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead."
"Hey." She cooed, kissing him back.
"This is an agent of some kind." Tony guessed, earning him another glare from Thor.
"Gentlemen, this is Laura." Clint introduced the group to his wife, smiling as they finally got to meet.
"Hi... I know all of your names." She waved awkwardly, smiling happily at the group. Tony waved back, while the rest of the group just stared at the pregnant woman. Footsteps echoed from the stairs, causing Clint to look back.
"Oh incoming." Two little kids came running towards him, their faces lit up by the sight of their father.
"Daddy!" They squealed, jumping into his arms. Clint laughed, talking to them softly.
"These are smaller ... agents." Tony tried to make sense of the situation.
"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" The little girl asked. The worried expression melted away from Natasha's face.
"Why don't you hug her and find out?" She laughed, holding arms out to the little girl. She ran over and hugged her as loving her as she did her father.
"Sorry for barging in on you." Steve apologised.
"Yeah, we would have called ahead," Tony agreed, "but we were having no idea that you existed."
"Yeah, Fury helped me set this up when I first joined." Clint explained, arms draped over his wife, "He kept it off SHIELD's files. I'd like to keep it that way. I figured it was a good place to lie low." He watched the rest of the group uncomfortably interact with the group, only wishing that he could've brought Eleven here.
