"Remember what the dormouse said"

"What are you doing?" Wanda asked, pulling the girl for her trance. Blood trickled out of her nose, she swayed slightly. Pietro was quick to steady her.

"Help." She whispered.

"Save your strength." Pietro told her, holding the small girl in his arms. "You're going to need it." He looked up at the sky, watching the quinjet fly across the sky, towards where Ultron was.

Steve rushed into the lab, finding Helen Cho with a wound in her chest, bleeding out onto the floor.

"He's uploading himself into the body." She uttered, breathing.

"Where?"

"The real power... is in the cradle. The gem. Its power... is uncontainable. You can't just... blow it up. You have to get the cradle... to Star...Stark"

"I have to find it first."

"Go."

Steve ran out of the lab, trying to find where the cradle went.

"Right above you, Cap." Clint's voice sounded out on the com. "On the loop by the bridge." Steve nodded in thanks, before taking off in that direction. "I can take out the driver." Clint added. Before Steve could say anything, a new voice sounded out through the coms.

"No." It was Eleven, "Gem."

"Eleven!" Clint said, "Are you okay? Where are you? Eleven?" He tried to get a response from the girl he thought of as a daughter.

"She's gone." Steve said, "Keep your focus." He leaped off the bridge onto the roof of the truck. He rolled of the back of the truck, hanging on the back. Suddenly, a blast of energy blew the doors open. Steve swung back into the side of the truck, kicking off it in an attempt to climb into the truck. The doors exploded, sending Steve flying. "He's definitely upset." He noted, hanging on to the doors dragging behind the truck. "I plan to keep him this way."

"You're no match for him, Cap." Clint added, trying to keep his sadness out of him voice.

"Thanks Barton." Steve said, leaping back to the truck, beginning to fight with Ultron. His shield got knocked out of his hands by Ultron, tumbling through the street. Natasha watched the shield roll away from the quinjet.

"We've got a window." Clint called back to her from the front of the jet. Nat nodded, climbing onto the motorbike sitting in the hanger. "Four...three..." He began to count down, the hatch slowly opening. "Give them hell." She fell, bouncing onto the road. Nat accelerated the bike, it humming gently. She saw the shield lying face down on the road. She raced past, picking it up and slinging it over her back.

"I'm always picking up after you boys." She muttered under breath. The one-liner brought a slight smile to Clint's face, as he kept an eye on his best friend.

"They're heading under the overpass." He informed her, "I've got no shot."

"Which way?" Nat reminded.

"Hard right... now." Natasha swerved to the right, cutting off a car behind her. She drove down the alleyway, before bursting into the open road. Steve was fighting Ultron, and without his shield, was struggling. Natasha got her throwing arm ready, and she and Steve shared a glance. Natasha hurled the shield towards Steve, praying that he caught it. She let out a sigh of relief as he caught it, slamming it into Ultron's face.

"Come on!" Steve cried as Ultron pushed him into the speeding train running next to him.

"Cap! Keep him occupied!" Clint's voice sounded out over the coms

"What do you think I've been doing?" Steve replied, annoyed. Suddenly, Eleven and the Maximoff twins appeared in the train, trying to assist him with the fight.

"Please, don't do this." Ultron was taken aback by the appearance of his former allies.

"What choice do we have?" Wanda replied, raising her hands as red energy started to flow out of them. Ultron shook his head, before flying out of the roof of the train.

"Nat, we gotta go." Clint's voice sounded out again, causing Eleven to look up. "Nat! Cap, have you seen Nat?"

"If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!" Steve instructed, looking out the window as the train went off course.

"Do you have eyes on Nat?"

"Go! Civilians in our path." Steve said, turning to Pietro. He nodded before running off. "Can you stop this thing?" Steve had raised the question towards Wanda, but Eleven raised her hands. The wheels started shifting into squares, rendering the train useless and unable to move. It still slid forward, causing Eleven to use more power to try to bring it to an actual halt. With their combined powers, the train stopped in its tracks. While Wanda was fine after using her abilities, Eleven started to tip back, falling into Steve's ready arms. Wanda met a panting Pietro, checking he was alright, while Steve carried the girl close to his chest, her blood staining his shirt, but he didn't care.

"I'm fine. I just need to take a minute." He reassured his sister. Pietro looked at the fainted girl in the Captain's arms, wishing that he could help her in some way.

"I'm very tempted not to give you one." Steve said as he watched the two villains turned good guys.

"The Cradle, did you get it?" Wanda asked, asking the big question.

"Stark will take care of it." Steve reassured them.

"No, he won't." She shook her head hurriedly.

"You don't know what you're talking about, Stark's not crazy."

"He will do anything to make things right." Wanda said, darkly.

"Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on coms?" He adjusted Eleven in his arms to reach up to press his com.

"Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?" Wanda questioned, leaving Steve in a funk. Did Tony not really know the difference?
