The Two of Us (A Cody Simpson Love Story) Chapter 2

I can’t believe Kaitlyn’s mom got Cody Simpson to play at her birthday party! Cody was looking really good. He was wearing a white V-neck, his red leather jacket, some black skinny jeans, and some red high tops. Classic Cody. The first song he sings is On my Mind, my favorite song. Kaitlyn an i get to the front of the stage and start dancing and singing like crazy. After he finished his amazing singing, he said, “Can I have the Birthday girl come up on stage?” Kaitlyn grabbed my wrist and drug  me up on stage with her.

Cody smiled. ” Well whose the birthday girl?” Kaitlyn raised her hand and got a mic. ” Hi Cody. I’m Kaitlyn, the birthday girl and this is my best friend Lindi.” Cody looked over at me and got a big smile. Why did he smile really big? I looked out in the crowd to break the look. Cody face the crowd and said, “Well Kaitlyn, I hear you are a big fan of Greyson Chance soo, Greyson?” I looked  over at Kaitlyn who looked at me. Her jaw was dropped and I could see tears forming in her eyes. Greyson walks out on stage and gives Kaitlyn a huge hug. I hurry and get my IPhone out and take a picture of them hugging. She’ll thank me later.

Greyson got a microphone and asked everyone to sing Happy Birthday with him and Cody for Kaitlyn. As they were singing to her, I videotaped. After the Happy Birthday, Greyson decided to sing one of his songs to her while Cody sang one to me. I can’t believe Cody Robert Simpson is about to sing a song to me. As Cody was singing his song to me, we looked into each other’s eyes. His aqua eyes were more gorgeous in person than in pictures. He started getting closer to me, in which I started to blush and accidentally bit my lip.When he finished the song, he hugged me, tight. We posed for pictures together and a bunch of cameras went off. All the guests were taking pictures and even some Paparazzi that found out about the party were taking pictures.

When Greyson was singing to Kaitlyn, he held her hang the whole time. I could tell he likes her. After they pictures together, all four off s got one big picture together. After about five minutes of picture taking, The DJ announced that Cody and Greyson will be staying for the rest of the party and then he started playing music. Kaitlyn and I went inside to her kitchen to talk.

“OH MY GOSH LINDI! I CANT BELIEVE MY MOM DID THAT!” Kaitlyn said in so much excitement. ” I know right!? Greyson definitely likes you! I can tell from the way he looked at you! YOU BETTER HANG OUT WITH HIM TONIGHT. He might make a move!” I said while winking. We both screamed and went back outside casually as if we weren’t just freaking out inside. While Kaitlyn and I were talking to our friends Bethany and Kenzie, I glanced over the DJ table where Cody and Greyson were talking to the DJ. I ignored and kept talking.

After the song that was playing was over, the DJ started talking into the mic. “Okay everyone. This next song is a slow song so pick a lovely partner to dance with!” All the people who didn’t have anyone stood on the sideline, which is where Kaitlyn, Bethany, Kenzie, and I stood. We were in a circle talking to each other when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turn around to see Cody now in front of me and Greyson next to him while Kaitlyn turns around. I look into Cody’s eyes as he looks into mine. ” Lindi, do you want to dance?”

I tried to say something, but I couldn’t. I was so baffled that Cody Simpson just asked me to dance with him I couldn’t speak. I just nodded. I could feel that my cheeks were getting pink again. We went in the middle of the crowd. I put my hands behind his neck and intertwined my fingers. He placed his hands on my sides very lightly which made me flinch. As we were slow dancing, I look over to see Greyson and Kaitlyn dancing. Her head was rest on his shoulder, which was SO cute! As the song kept going, It felt like Cody Was getting closer to me. I look up at him in which our eyes meet, again. He Smiled and I could feel his fingers intertwine behind on my back.

When the song was over, I grabbed Kaitlyn and we went inside. ” OH MY GOSH KAITLYN I THINK CODY LIKES ME!” Kaitlyn’s eyes widen and respond, ” NO WAY! GET HIS NUMBER!” I give her a look that says, ” are you crazy?!” “Sorry Lindi! You should just try!” Before I could answer, Kenzie walks in and tells us that we should come outside for the rest of the party. When Kaitlyn and I go outside, we see Cody and Greyson coming towards us. They both told us that they had to leave and that they had a great time. I gave Cody a hug. Cody held me tightly. When we let go Cody gave me a piece of paper and walked away. Why did he give me paper?
