The Two of Us (A Cody Simpson Love Story) Chapter 7

My phone rings. It was a text from.. of course Cody. 

From: Cody

Hey Lindi. I’m on my way to your house. We have to talk.

Of jeez. I have to get Quinton out of here before Cody comes or it’s going to be an ugly mess. “Quinton, you can’t stay here. I uh my mom is coming home right now and she doesn’t let people over while she’s gone.” I  had to think of something to tell him. Quinton says, “Okay. Call me tonight.” He looks into my eyes and kisses my cheek. Oh my god. How am I going to tell him?

I run inside and go to the bathroom. I turn on my straightener and put some makeup on. A little concealer and mascara. I brush my teeth and straighten my hair really quick. I run into my room and Pick some clothes out. floral shorts and a white over the shoulder shirt that has a picture of Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell on it. I surprisingly did all of that in 7 minutes. My new personal best. Right as I was putting on some EOS lip balm, the doorbell rang. 

I go down the stairs and open the door. It was Cody. I smiled and said Hi. Cody looked into my eyes and gave me a half smile. I invited him inside. “Do you want something to drink?” I ask politely. Cody calmly spoke, “No I’m good. ” He goes to my couch and sits. He looks down at the ground. What in the world is wrong with him? I sit next to him on the couch and look at him. 

“Cody, What’s wrong?” He looks up at me. He gets his phone out and goes to some website. He scrolls down and gives me his phone. Oh god. It was the picture of Cody and I. I scrolled up the page to see what website it is. It was J-14. How great is this. There’s a picture of Cody and I kissing on the most popular teen magazine’s website. I put my head on Cody’s shoulder and sighed. “Everything will be alright. Were just going to have to tell everyone about us when they ask.” Cody half whispers half says. I bring my head up and move some pieces of hair out of my face. All of a sudden I got the best idea ever. 

“Cody. I have an idea. Be right back.” I get up and run upstairs. I go into my room. I grab my macbook and a guitar. I check myself in the mirror real quick. I need to put some more mascara on. I put a little bit on, grab the two things, and run back into the family room. “Cody, could you move that coffee table back a little bit and sit on the floor?” While he was doing so, I put my macbook and my guitar on the couch and go to the kitchen. I get two bottles of water from the fridge and go back to the family room.I put the water on the floor. I grab my macbook and sign onto it. I put it on the coffee table. I grab my guitar and sit next to Cody.
