The Two of Us (A Cody Simpson Love Story) Chapter 3

I opened up the piece of paper. It said:

” Lindi, 

Meet me at the park on Simmons Street tonight at 10. Bring Kaitlyn.

- Cody “

Oh my gosh. Cody wants to meet tonight. If he want Kaitlyn to come, that means Greyson is coming! I turn to Kaitlyn and show her the note. Her eyes widened and made the biggest smile I have ever seen.The good thing is, the park was just down the street so it wasn’t a far walk. The bad thing is, Kaitlyn or my parents would not let us go out at that time, expecially to meet guys. We are going to have to sneak out. 

I had the perfect plan. “Kaitlyn, go ask your mom to see if you can stay the night at my house tonight while I call my mom to ask if you can stay the night.” She nodded and went to talk to her mom. I get my IPhone out of my clutch and dial my mom’s cell phone number. ” Hi sweetie!” my mom said all sweet. “Hey mom, could Kaitlyn stay the night tonight? PLEASE!” There was a pause on he phone. My mom finally answered, “Oh sure hunny. That’s great!” Wow, my mom is actually letting her. “Thank you so much mom! See you in a little bit! Bye.” As i hang up the phone Kaitlyn walks over with a smile on her face. I automatically knew the answer. “Yes?” I asked just to make sure. ” She said yes!”

Kaitlyn and I walk over to my house and wait for the time to become 10. We started getting bored so I got my laptop and got on twitter. I checked Cody’s twitter to  see if he tweeted and he did.

@TheCodySimpson : Had an amazing time today. Met somone. #AnAngel

OH MY GOSH! that was about me. Holy cow. Kaitlyn sees the tweet and scrambles for the laptop. She goes to Greyson’s twitter. He tweeted:

@greysonchance : Had a great time tonight with @TheCodySimpson met some amazing people tonight. happy birthday kaitlyn! :)

I looked over at Kaitlyn. I could have sworn she just died on my bed and came back life. She took a picture of the tweet with her phone and made it her background. We started creeping on people’s twitters when I noticed the time. it was 9:40! I still have to get dressed! I go to my closet and get some some black Soffee shorts, a white Clearwater, FL shirt, and a black jacket. I get dressed really quick and grab some black flip flops. Kaitlyn was already dressed before she came over.

We open my door really softly to make sure it doesnt make any noises. we tip toe through my house and down the stairs. We hurry to the front door and quickly squeezed through the door.  We started walking down the street in complete silence. When we reached the park, i saw something on the swing set. It was a white  envelope. I ran over the to envelope.It was adressed to me and Kaitlyn. I opened up the envelope and saw something inside. I pulled them out and my eyes widened.
