It was two tickets. Two movie premiere tickets. I looked into the envelope again and say a note. I opened the note and read it aloud. It said:
“Lindi and Kaitlyn:
Here are two tickets for the movie premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2. Meet at the Park tomorrow at 7 in formal attire. There is an after party. Hope to see you.
- Cody and Greyson”
If felt like my heart skipped a beat. I think Cody likes me. Do I like him back? I dont really know him that well. Maybe this is my chance to actually talk to him. I run over to Kaitlyn and show it to her. The first thing she says? “We need to go shopping tomorrow.” Typical Kaitlyn, but she was right. I dont have anything Paparazzi photos worthy. I check my phone and see the time. It was almost 11! “Um Kaitlyn, it’s almost 11. we need to get back to my house.” She nodded in agreement.
When we got back into my room, we both went to sleep.
Im at the park in a beautiful dress. I look over to the left and see Cody looking handsome as ever. I can’t help but to smile. He walks over to me and gives me a big tight hug. We go into a limo where Greyson and Kaitlyn are holding hands. We get to the premiere and paprazzi are taking abunch of pictures. Cody hasnt left my side since we got out off the car. Abunch of the paparazzi are asking questions but only one stood out to me. ” CODY! IS THIS GIRL YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!” After one of them asked, more and more of them started asking. “Lindi! Wake up! We need to go shopping!” It was all a dream. Just a dream. Why couldn’t that be in real life?! I hurried and got ready while my mom was waiting in the car for the both of us. We went from store to store finding bits and pieces for outfits when I found the perfect outfit.
It was almost 7 when Kaitlyn and I started walking down to the park. By the timee we got there, A hummer limo was waiting for us. When we crossed the street that goes too he park Cody and Greyson come out. They both looked at us. Their eyes widened. Did we look that nice? I was wearing a white and black strapless dress. The dress went a little bit above my mid-thigh. Kaitlyn and I were taking pictures with our IPhones. Cody and I got a picture together, Kaitlyn and greyson got one together, and then all four of us.
When we got to the event, we all got out and camera light were flashing everywhere. Cody comes close to me and whispers something in my ear. “Dont answer any of the paparazzi questions.” I nodded as s were walking down the red carpet. Paparazzi got pictures of me and cody, greyson and Kaitlyn, Greyson andd Cody, and even pictures of Kaitlyn and I. During a picture with Cody, I heard it. ” ARE YOU AND CODY DATING?” I felt my face getting hot. I ignore the question and look over at Kaitlyn. She was holding hands with Greyson. I can’t believe it. They must be dating.
I hear my phone ring. I open my clutch and get my phone out. It was a text from.. Kaitlyn?
” OH MY GOSH LINDI! GREYSON ASKED ME OUT JUST A LITTLE BIT AGO! WERE DATING!!!!!” I looked over to her and gave her two thumbs up. I was so happy for her. Now if only Cody would make a move.
