The Two of Us (A Cody Simpson Love Story) Chapter 6

Both Cody and I turned to see what the flash was. IT’S A PAPARAZZI. Cody grabs my hand and starts running. I have no idea where we were going. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t even know where hes going. After we crossed about two streets, he finally stops. Good thing too, because it is NOT easy to run in heels. “Cody!” I turn him around and look at him. I couldn’t help but smile. He was so cute. I got on my tip toes and kissed him. Man, this could never get old. 

We started walking back to the party. Cody grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers in the spaces between mine. While we were walking back, I checked my phone. I had 3 new messages. Two were from Kaitlyn and one was from.. Quinton. I checked Kaitlyn’s first. 

From: Kaitlyn

Umm Lindi where are you ?

LINDIII!!! call me!

I ignored her messages. I clicked on Quinton’s message.

From: Quinton

Hey Lindi. I need to talk to you. call me later?

I put my phone up and just ignored the messages. I need to focus on what is going on right now. Like the fact that someone has a picture of Cody and I kissing.

When Cody and I got back to the party, people were leaving. Not a lot of people, but just some. I could see Kaitlyn coming over to us. Cody let go of my hand and put it in his pocket. “Lindi! Where have you been?!” “I um felt sick so Cody took my outside.” I couldn’t tell her about the kiss in front of Cody. That would be just weird.

During the rest of night, I got pictures with some cool people I met, and even got a picture with Cody. As soon as I got that picture, I set it as my lock screen on my phone. Cody comes over to me right before  we leave. He hands me his phone. I look at the screen. It was a new contact with the name Lindi on it. “You know Lindi, most people put their number in when this happens.” Cody says and then chuckles. I type in my number and give him my phone. He types in his number and then smiles at me.

When I got home I changed into some black Sofee shorts and a pink Hollywood shirt on. I log onto my computer and check my twitter. It seemed normal. The normal people tweeting me and such. I tweeted everyone back and thought of a tweet.

Hmm. Sounded good to me. I was so exhausted. It’s time for sleep. 

I open my eyes just enough to see the time. It was almost ten. I open my eyes all the way and sit up in bed. I grab my phone and check it. I have one voicemail from Quinton..

“Hey Lindi. Come outside of you house right now.” Umm that’s a little weird? I put my Adidas sandals on and go outside. I can’t believe it. It’s Quinton. Right here. In the flesh. I could feel tears in my eyes. I ran over to him and gave him the biggest hug ever. I pull back and look at him. I could feel a smile on my face the whole time. Quinton suddenly kisses me. what the heck. I can’t believe that just happened. I’m dating Cody! Well, I mean I think we are anyways. What am I supposed to do?!
