Put fate on hold - Neji x Reader.

Team Guy

After the introductions the ninjas all start their regular training regimen like nothing has happened. Guy stays behind talking to [Name] about what how she is going to start up about training. He asks stuff like what's her skills and what she can do, which they easily conclude is not much since she don't remember anything. The resolve is that she is going to observe how they act during combat and [Name] will try to find something that she want to do. He gives some advice of what he thinks she should focus on to begin with.

"Does this sound okay to you?"

"Yeah! It's a good start, I am gonna do my best Guy-sensei!"

 Guy gives a pleased smile, giving her a thumbs up.

"You're going to fit right in [Name]!"

The whole first period [Name] examines the teams moves, scribbling down every tiny detail. At times she helps them refill water bottles or do something else to help them. [Name] is determined to help them out as much as she can to prove she really want this. Watching them also helps her apprehend what their specialty is, for an example Lee is an amazing taijutsu user whom she can learn a lot from. Tenten is an extremely skilled ninja scroll summoner of weapons and other necessities which makes her a valuable member who can support backup at long-range, besides summoning weapons Tenten is skillful when it comes to melee combat. [Name]'s analysis of Neji is that he uses a jutsu that has passed down in his clan the Hyūgas. The base seems to be 'Eight Trigrams' or 'Gentle Fist' that he later on adds on too, to make the jutsu more powerful. He also possess a special kind of eyes called 'Byakugan' that grants him vision in an almost 360° around himself, impressive indeed. [Name] can't help but to look at his eyes, they are different. Their almost transparent color intrigues her, as well as she can't help to find beautiful. There is more too it, all of him intrigues her, she wants to know him better. She feels like there is more to it than just the stern look and short sentences, he likely has a lot more emotions than what strikes the eye. Neji is probably one of those individual who acts cold and bored but in reality has more emotions and compassion one could ever dream of. [Name] smiles to herself thinking about the boy. He is indeed interesting.

"Guy-sensei can we take a break now, we have been going on since this morning!" Tenten says while panting loudly. It seems like Tenten and Neji is done for but Guy and Lee are still energetic as always. [Name] stands up from the spot she has been observing from and brings bottles water to all of them.

"Alright then, we can take a short break." Said man simply states, Tenten makes a loud grunt before grabbing the bottle [Name] is reaching out to her.

"You all can take a break, I am going to continue." Lee says while performing one-arm pushups. [Name] and Tenten looks at each other and sweat drops.

"Some people has the energy to lighten up an entire city, guess we found one of them." [Name] giggles and Tenten hums in agreement. Neji looks over at the two girls before continue what he was doing.

"I am going to refill the bottles, I'll be right back." The [h/c] haired girl says before she leaves, picking up the bottles from the ground. While reaching for them a burning pain grows from her left arm, she realizes that one of the wounds has opened up and is bleeding.

"Are you okay [Name]?" Tenten asks while walking over to [Name].

"Yeah, it's nothing."

"Doesn't look like 'nothing' to me." Neji comes over and take her left arm and inspect it.

"It's bleeding pretty bad, what did you do?"

"Honestly, nothing." She laughs nervously. Neji sighs deeply before answering.

"It doesn't matter, I'll have to treat the wound. Follow me." He lets go of her arm and walks ahead, [Name] follows the older boy to the place where they have the medical equipment packed.

"Can you remove the bandage on that arm?" He says while looking in the back for the right equipment. [Name] carefully removes the bandage, making sure not to get blood all over her clothes. Right then it hits her, what is he going to think about the scars? Stressed and worried she tries to hide most of the scars but quickly understands that it's not going to work because IT'S ALL OVER HER ARM FOR GOODNESS SAKE. [Name] sighs and sits down besides Neji, who just got his hands on the right stuff.

"Now, let me see..." He trails of when he spots the enormous amount of scar covering this girls arms.

"The other one doesn't look any better and before you ask, no I don't know where I got them. I didn't even know I had them until yesterday night." She glumly says. He grasps her left arm again and starts putting disinfectant on it, [Name] don't make a sound since it don't hurt. While treating her he gets a good look of her. She is not focused on what is going on and looks all over the place like a lost dog. Her eyes flickering around trying to apprehend what is happening. Neji can't lie to himself, [Name] is stunning. Her [e/c] eyes are gorgeous that could be hiding an entire life, her lips look so pink and soft one can't help but to wonder if those ever lost their innocence yet. [h/c] [h/l] hair that falls perfectly framing her face, he almost mistakes her hair for silk. [Name] has indeed made her way to Neji's mind. He forgets what he was doing and just gazes at her.

"Hey friend, are you done?"

"Uh, yeah. Let me just bandage it up again." He snaps out of his thoughts, reaching out to grab a new fresh bandage before putting it on.

"There, done." [Name] looks at the neatly bandaged arm. Not as good as Tsunade's but it will do.

"Thanks Neji!" She says before leaving but Neji stops her.

"Be careful." He says but snaps quickly to correct his 'failed' sentence.

"We don't need any more injuries, it's a bother for everyone." [Name] sends realizing smile about what he is trying to do and plays along.

"Yeah I'll try to keep up with you guys. Lets go back to the training grounds now." She waits for him and they walk together back to the rest. Neji curses himself for saying such a thing. He doesn't have time to worry about a girl who just joined the team, he got a set goal he is working hard to achieve. An outsider girl can't get in the way of that.
