Chapter 3

Lauren Pov

"Lo, come on we are all ready to leave." I hear Camz shout. I take one last look at my outfit and walk downstairs.

-"Alright let's go" I say. "You almost took as long as Mani with her hair." Camila says. We all laugh while Mani just pouts, but then laugh as we are walking out.

My dad knocks on the door and then the same small girl from class opens the door with a bright smile.

-"Hi, I'm Ariana but you can call me Ari" she says. We all say "hi" and walk in. Wow their house was even bigger looking on the inside.

-"These are my siblings." She says. "This is Dinah" she points to the tall blonde. "Demi" the girl with short black hair. "This is Harry" the only guy in the group. They all wave.

-"I am Lauren, this is Normani, and Camila." I say. Our parents then introduce themselves. Then a short woman and a man walk downstairs.

-"Sorry, we are late. Hi I am Ally their adoptive mother and this is Louis their adoptive father" she says. "Dinner will be ready soon, so you guys make a home" she says. Liked they planned it all the women go with Ally to help and the men go to the living room.

-"Isn't there one more of you guys" Mani ask. "Oh, she woke up late. Do you guys want to go outside to the fire?" She asked. We three nod and follow them.

They are looking at each other nodding like they were talk. Till Camz coughed and they apologized for being so quiet. We all sat and got to know each other and talked. Mani and Dinah bonded quickly over Beyoncé, while Harry and Camz talked about movies. Demi had walked inside to get drinks and I just sat there.

-"Why are you sitting by yourself beautiful?" I look up and it's her, the girl that saved my face. I just stare at her till I realize she called me beautiful.

-"I don't k-know." I stutter while talking to her. She smirks and sits down next to me.

-"Hi, I am (Y/N), you are?" She ask. "I am Lauren" I say. She smiles and we start talking. I soon learn that we both love The 1975, Lana Del Ray, painting, books, and horror movies. We were talking till she whines and gets up and walks away. I frown and before I can go after her Ally calls for dinner.

We were all eating and talking to each other. Then my dad asked Ally about their parents. It's like all of them heard him over the chatter. Ally just has a small smile and says "They are traveling out of the country."

After that the table gets silent and as on cue they all stand up. (Y/N) and all of them except Dinah leave and go outside.

We all get up to leave, because the tension was thick. Right as we say our goodbyes Mani realizes she left her purse. She turns around quickly and runs in Dinah. As Dinah catches her they stand their and look at each other. Mani blinks and Dinah then walks away, just like (Y/N) did.

We walk out and before we part ways, Mani stops me.
-She asked "Did Dinah eyes just turn golden and blue?"
