Chapter 16

Camila Pov

-"Wake Up sleeping beauty!" Dinah screams at me. I roll over and look at the clock, it's 5 in the morning.

-"Why the hell are you waking me up so early, go back to bed" I say. "We told you my dad's training is hard, now either get up or he will come and get you, trust me you don't want that" she says while laughing. I roll back over and fall asleep, till I am woken up by a bunch of water being poured on me.

-"If you are not downstairs in 5 min you will run the entire forest" Dinahs dad says. Crap they were not joking.

I get up quickly and put on dry shorts and a sports bra. I've gotten use to the fact that we don't really wear clothing since we are shifting a lot. I run downstairs and see Ally making breakfast.

-"I'm glad you are up baby, last thing we need is you trying to run the forest" she says while laughing. Hearing her laugh makes me smile. God I love her.

C- oh, crap I forgot I bit you already.

I look up to see Ally smiling and blushing.

-"Why you so read sunshine, you and Mila having dirty talk" Dinah says. Everyone starts laugh while Ally and I turn super red. I sit down and start eating while we all talk about random things.

-"Alright everyone let's head outside, we got a lot of training to do" Dinahs dad says. Everyone gets up and rushes outside, I stop and kiss Ally then head out.

Once we are all in the woods we are instructed to shift into wolf form.

-"Alright guys, we are going to go over some rules and fighting techniques you will need to fight vampires" (Y/d/n) says.

-"First, stay alert don't get distracted while fighting, second don't try to focus on your mates, the whole point of this battle being on a full moon is to help let your guard down. Third NEVER let a vampire bite you, it is known to be instant death, wolf and vampire genes do not mix." (Y/n) dad says.

-"Alright let's fight, everyone pair up and battle around with your partner till one of you is pinned down" Dinah says. Before I know it everyone is paired up. Harry and Demi are together and (y/n) and Dinah are together.

-"Camila partner with me" Dinahs dad says. Crap why me. Everyone starts fighting and Dinahs dad shifts.

Later...

After fighting with a Dinahs dad and losing every time he told us to shift back to human.

-"Now you are going to fight this way" (Y/m/n) says. "Why?" I ask.

-"You are your weakest when you are trying to shift, let's say you can't and you need to fight with your hands before your paws. You need to know how to use both" she says.

Everyone started fighting and it was going horrible for me, Dinahs dad was kicking my ass and I couldn't even get a swing in. Everyone was laughing except (Y/n), she yelled in the link for everyone to stop and they did. Before we started up again (Y/n) walked over to me.

-"Camz, he is using the same move to take you down, if your arms are not strong, use your legs. Kick his legs from under him and get him on his back. Just dodge his first punch by ducking and then sweep his legs" she said. I nodded my head and we started up again.

I followed her idea, he threw a punch and I ducked, then used my right leg to sweep his and he went down. I jumped up excited and hugged (Y/n).

-"See you can do it, don't think you can't face someone just because they look bigger. Everyone has a weakness" she says. I nodded my head and looked over at Ally she was smiling big and looked so proud.

-"Since the rest of you found it funny that someone who is apart of this pack was failing you get to run 5 laps around the neighborhood in human form" (Y/n) says. Everyone sighed and started running. I walked inside with Ally to go in for lunch.

Your Pov

-"I am proud of you honey, for teaching and defending someone of your pack like that." My dad says. I nod my head and start walking inside seeing Louis on the couch.

-"What's wrong" Louis asked. I sighed heavily.

-"I am scared Louis, everyone believes in me to lead this pack into a fight and bring them all out alive. What if I can't do that? I've already lost Ari, had Demi paralyzed, and now Lauren" I say.

-"(Y/n) everyone except you to do what an alpha does. Lead them, you have no control over what others do and they know this. No one is thinking you have to protect everyone, that is impossible, but you have to lead them. If you believe you can do that they will follow and trust you. A pack isn't just about protecting everyone, it's about trust and loyalty. If you guys trust in each other you can't fail and if you stay loyal no one can break you apart" Louis says.

-"Yeah, what about Ari then. She didn't trust me and she didn't stay loyal" I say.

-"I think Ari is under a spell, it is hard for a member to leave a pack and you would have heard her make that choice. I've been looking into that family and the leader Brad has practiced dark magic before. Mind control takes years to get right and I'm guessing he has had practice before and took control over Ari. I don't think he has a gift or he is pretending that mind control is it." Louis says. I nod and then the pack walks in.

-"Is it true what Louis said about Ari" Harry asks. "It's possible Harry, with this information we do not harm Ari. Louis what is the one way we get her out of the mind control" I ask.

-"Her mate is the only one who can do that, when she finally meets them their eyes will bring her back" he says. We all nod.

-"Guys, I want you all to come in the medical room so I can cast a quick healing spell over you guys to help during the fight. I'll start with you (Y/n)" Ally says. I follow her into the medical room and stop when I see Lauren.

-"She still hasn't woken up Ally" I say.

-"She will, don't lose hope" she says. I start to cry and she pulls me into a hug and rubs my back.

-"She has to wake up Ally, I can't go on without her" I say while sobbing. "She will just trust in her, she is strong" Ally says.

After some time crying Ally does the spell and sends me off to bed. As I lay there a sudden warmth comes over me. I realize I have to be strong, I have to be brave and protect my family. They are trusting in me and I need to prove to them that I am a strong leader who they can trust.
