For the rest of the day, Jess couldn't bear to look at Leslie or Amelia's face. He had distanced himself as far away as possible from the two and stayed close with the three goons instead. Miss Edmunds tried to talk to him a few times but like back then, he always stuttered and acted like an idiot which made him just feel embarrassed.

Jess laid his head down on the table and watched the girls at the other table giggling and laughing away. For some reason, the boys were separated from the girls so he was only with Jake and Damien at the moment. The memory of Amelia kissing him and acting so seductive flashed in again. "Oh god..." he groaned and buried his head in his arms.

"You know if I didn't know any better, I would've thought that Amelia and Miss Edmunds were sisters." Jake said and chuckled as he watched his friend hitting his forehead on the table repeatedly. "Why were you so red when you came back anyways?" He asked with a raised eye brow.

"Did something happen between you and Amelia?" Sally joined in, her eyes narrowed at Jess.

"She... she sorta kissed me..."

Damien, who had been looking down on his phone the whole time looked at Jess for a moment before giving a quiet sigh and returning back to his phone.

"She what?!" Sally almost screamed in shock and immediately clamped her hand to her mouth when she realized she had been too loud. She looked around the room and then to Jess. "And then what did you do? Did you pull away? Please tell me you did." She said seriously. If looks could kill, Jess would probably be dead by that moment.

"I did!" Jess said in response, looking straight at Sally. "... after 10 seconds..." he admitted guiltily, dropping his gaze on the plate.

Jake let out a sigh and patted his friend's shoulder with his eyes closed. "My friend, you have a problem." He shook his head and sighed again. "OK, choose now. Leslie or Amelia?"

"Leslie!" Jess said almost instantly with so much confidence that it surprised both Jake and Sally.

"Well then there's your answer. You chose Leslie. You love her," Jess blushed at the last part. "There isn't a problem. Maybe you didn't pull away from the kiss because of - ahem - guy stuff." Jake explained and chuckled.

"Guy stuff?" Sally questioned.

"Oh you know... stuff." Jake replied with a smirk and jiggled his eye brows which just made Sally smack him.

At the other table where Leslie was, Miss Edmunds was telling them about her stay in New York and how she met her husband. Leslie couldn't help but smile at her story.

"What about you, Leslie?" Miss Edmunds asked her and smiled.

     "Me?"

"Well I've seen how you and Jess were with each other when you were always together back then." Miss Edmunds laughed softly as she remembered the times. "Did anything happen between you and Jess?" She finally asked with a sly grin, unaware of her student's recent relationship.

Leslie was at a lost for words for once in her whole life. She didn't expect her teacher to ask that question and she became slightly embarrassed when Miss Edmunds said that she could see how they were with each other when they were younger.

"Well, um..." Leslie started with a blush creeping up to her face. She cleared her throat and showed a small smile. "We actually uh dated..." she answered nervously, not knowing whether she should go into detail or not.

"Oh so you two are dating!" Miss Edmunds exclaimed with a cheery voice.

Leslie gave a nervous laugh and dropped her gaze to the plate and played with her fingers. "We just recently broke up... due to some unfortunate circumstances." She looked up and feigned a smile. "But it's OK. We've both moved on." She turned to Amelia and smiled. "Amelia on the other hand, is starting to get very close with Jess." Miss Edmunds looked a little surprised at the information but nodded her head and smiled.
