Chapter 4

Jungkook's POV

-4 months later-

After relentless studying in Korea, I have finally made it...

Well actually I'm in Bejing, China right now to go to the preliminaries but I'm sure I'll make it through.

"Look there!" Our 'coach' said as he pointed at a classroom filled with at least ten or more people.

Our so-called coach leaned in and whispered, "That's Indonesia...but they aren't the competition." He gestured to the next classroom and leaned in again, "And that's China...that's who we're up against, do you think you can take them out?"

Sorry if I offend anyone from Indonesia, I was looking at a random country in the atlas and it just turned out that I saw Indonesia. Again, trying to not to offend anyone...

I smirked and raised my head proudly.

"They're going down."

My coached was silent for a while but then bursts out laughing. A few minutes later, he stopped laughing and started to wipe the tears away from his eyes.

I gave him a questioning look.

"That was a cringeworthy comment!"

"And that's funny because?"

"Because...-"
He was cut off when one of our teammates, as well as our leader of our team, Namjoon called for us.

"Come on, we're being introduced to the Taiwanese team!"

A sigh escapes my mouth as I move or more like sulk across to the classroom.

I was not in the mood to be conversing with other people, even though I was in a past conversation with the coach but I was close with him so I can let him off.

When I got to the classroom, I saw all my teammates smiling. I do remember when they told me how girls in their school always threw themselves at them. They wanted to find someone to fall in love, not for a one night stand.

It seemed that they were all excited that all the people in the classroom were girls, excluding me and my teammates of course.

The coach said something in Chinese before pairing people up.

There were 15 people in the group, Namjoon got paired up with Jihyo, Jin with Nayeon, Taehyung with Eunha, Jimin with Chaeyoung, Yoongi with Junmyeon (Not sure if I spelt her name right??), Hobi with Sowon.

I got paired up with a girl called Tzuyu, she had a long dress covering her thighs up to her knees. Her eyes had a double-eyelid as if she had become a k-pop idol, she had pearl-white teeth with her smile melting the hearts of every boy who took a glance at her.

She came up to me and gave me a smile that makes me retract into the little shell I made just for this situation.

It's not that I don't like girls, I just have a bad past with them and let's just say, if your own mother cheated on your father leaving you with emotionally-damaged and abusive father. You'd think all girls bad as your mother because as far as I know, my mother was the only woman in my life.

"Hi!"

"H-hello." I mumbled.

"So the teacher told we can go explore the city. Do you wanna go?"

I nod and we make our way to the exit of this gigantic school.

After making it out of that labyrinth of hallways, seriously how can people make their way out so easily?

Tzuyu suddenly grabbed my hand and pointed to the sign in big, bold, Chinese letters.

"Let's go to the Forbidden City." She said and dragged me with no warning.

I had trouble comprehending the situation we were in as we kept turning left and right, going up and down stairs. I looked around to see where we were.

We were in a plaza in front of the Forbidden Palace, I looked down to see her still holding my hand as she was taking in the view before her very eyes.

I coughed.

"Whoops sorry..."

We both stared into each other's eyes. I got lost as the brown beautiful brown in colour seeped into my brain.

After about ten minutes of staring at each other, the cold breeze stroked passed our faces, we stop our gaze to react at this cold weather.

While I was putting on my emergency glove, I saw Tzuyu shivering as she had no winter clothing on.

"Um here..."

"What is it?"

I gave her glove and looked away in the opposite way to avoid...
