It all happened so fast that night Cory and Topanga Matthews didn't even see it coming. Even Riley and Auggie were as surprised as Maya herself. Riley thought it was so bad that all of her friends came to visit to cheer her up. So there they were Wednesday, September 9th, Riley, Maya, Farkle, Lucas, Zay, Josh (to much of Maya's dismay), and even Riley's Aunt Morgan were in Riley's bedroom that night. "I don't think we should be here Riley, its getting bad." said Lucas. He didn't like the sound of her parents fighting. "No its fine." said Riley. "These past few days they haven't even payed much attention to me and Auggie anyway." Josh and Morgan went over to comfort Riley and Auggie. Josh went to Auggie and Morgan went to Riley. " Are you going to make this all better Aunt Morgan?"
"Ill try pumpkin." Riley loved when her Aunt Morgan called her by her baby nicknames. I don't think that Morgan realizes that Riley is now 15 years old. "Riles, maybe we need to fix this ourselves." Suggested Maya. Riley never thought that Maya Penelope Hart would ever have such a brilliant idea in all of her 15 years of living. "I think your right!" Riley said.
But she spoke too soon. They all heard it. It didn't sound good. Riley didn't even have to go downstairs to see who slammed IT. It was either Cory or TOPANGA!! Riley started crying. Maya and Morgan went over to tell her its going to be okay. "It wouldn't be your mom!" Maya said. "Lets just go down and see whose crying on the couch." Morgan said. Riley agreed.
