Chapter 7:No going back

Riley and Maya walked into Riley's fathers history class that next day. "Hey Riley,did you get the book back I borrowed." Farkle said. She wasn't paying attention to him. She noticed that her father was back in school.

"Dad?" Riley asked. [Maybe it's a dream. A dream where I wake up soon and everything goes back to normal.] she thought.

"Riley,please take your seat. Class is starting soon." Cory answered. "Sorry Riles." Maya said. She knew Riley's facial expressions and this one wasn't good. That and the fact that she heard the entire conversation. "Today we will be learning about the Revolutionary war." Cory started. [He wouldn't.] Riley,Maya,Lucas,Farkle and Zay thought.

"Kinda like the war your having against mom?" Riley finally had the guts to say. I mean after all. It is her own father. "Riley that's enough. You are much apart of what me and your mother are going though." Cory said. His tone wasn't getting better. It was getting worse. "How, I was up in my room that day-" Riley was cut off. "Listening to our conversation?" Cory confronted.

"No, I was up in my room with you and mom not knowing where I was. Not caring where I was. Not looking. You don't care about me and Auggie anymore. You just care about winning against Godzilla." Riley finished. Maya was shocked with her mouth wide open. Farkle and Lucas just stood there. While Zay just did what Zay did.

"You know it's hard to win against your mother."Cory snapped back. "No,your going up against Godzilla." Maya said. (A/n: this happened after GM her monster hence why I'm using Godzilla in reference to Topanga.) Riley and Maya had tears in their eyes.

"I think you should call your mom." Maya suggested. So Riley did. At lunch she called her mother and explained what happened.

Authors note: sorry for the lame part. It is titled no going back because Cory and Riley can't take back what they said! I know it's a little confusing but I'm bringing in one of Corpanga's old friends😱
