Topanga's P.O.V
I would say that the call to Cory went okay. It didn't go all so well but we both weren't happy to see each other. He told me that he was in Philly at the time and to tell Auggie he loves him.
"No. Cornelius Matthews I don't care where the heck you are you are getting down to this hospital to see your son that you haven't seen for almost a month." I said. He responded quickly but just with a simple okay.
Cory walked into the hospital. Feeny,Shawn, Lucas, Farkle, and the girls were already there. Morgan was in with Auggie. I could tell that Riley was upset and Lucas and Maya were trying to cheer her up. I didn't say much to Cory but 3 words that were always in my head suddenly came back. I felt like saying them but I would sound like such a loser.
He suddenly had tears in his eyes which made Riley even more upset. "Topanga I'm-" he started to say. "I love you." I cut him off. What did I just do??
([] means flashback)
["Riley, it's going to be okay,you don't need your father. I don't need your father." "Mom! You don't get it. What about Auggie? What's he going to say? You should need dad. I need dad and Auggie does too."]
