when you forgive but can't forget

chapter 8- the unexspected

                   Kate pov.

The next day I was woken up by Danny's very loud snoring. I was going to wake him up but I turned on my side to face him and just starred at him while he was sleeping. I sat up a little and I looked behind Danny at the clock on the nightstand and it read that it was eight in the morning. I leaned back down on my pillow and said to myself 'really Danny''. I think I said that a little to loud because I think he heard me say that because I felt him grab my hand and he turned on his side to look at me and said 'morning beautiful'. I just put my head down and started to blush, and looked at him and said the same back. After a moment of silence I asked Danny what he was doing today. He said that he's going down to the studio today with the lads to write. I said 'that's great', in a sad tone. He notice how I sounded and asked if I want to go with him and of course I said yes. After talking for like five minutes, but it felt like hours when i'm talking  with him. We got up out of bed and got dressed. I just threw on some skinny jeans and a grey plain shirt and a black sweatshirt. Danny wore black skinny jeans and a black short sleeve shirt with his black jacket and white sneakers. Then we left the house  to go to the studio.

            Danny's POV.

    When Kate and I left the house to go to the studio my phone started to ring. So I went into my pants pocket and looked at the front of the phone to see who it is calling. Kate asked who was calling, I told her that it was mark. (here's the convocation)

        Danny: Hello

        Mark:  hey Dan, you know that you are late to come to the studio. You were suppose to be here  at 10:30am.

        Danny: I'm well aware, were on our way there now so relax

         mark: okay good, wait who are you bringing with you

          Danny: I'm bringing Kate my girlfriend is that okay with you

           mark: yeah just hurry up, so we can write will ya

           Danny: bye

           mark: bye     (end of conversation)

         Finally after ten minutes of walking we arrived at the studio.  Kate and I get at the entrance and go in and go up the stairs to the door that has number 3 on it. I walked in and say hi, and mark and glen looked really mad that I'm late. They should expect that, I'm always late for everything. So the lads and I just get started on writing, and Kate walks over and sites on the couch listening to us think of ideas of what we should write about.

      Kate's POV..

   As I'm listening to the guys write there songs, there coming out really great. I think that their fans are going to love the new songs. I'm so proud of them living there dream and doing what they love to do. I can tell that they are really happy because of the looks on there faces while writing there music for their fans. Who they love so much. I met some of there fans before there all so sweet and nice to talk to.

  I didn't want to interrupt them by asking them a question while working, but I did it anyways. I walk up to them and they all look at me and I ask if they wanted a tea or a coffee from the café down the street. They all starred at me and said 'tea please' all at the same time. I thought that was so adorable and that made me laugh a little. I said 'I'll be back', Danny stood up and kissed me on the lips. Then I started to smile, and then I left the room and out of the building.

  I walked into the café and walked to the counter and ordered three teas for the guys and a hot chocolate for me. The girl behind the counter said 'that will be four dollars please'. I gave her the four dollars and stepped aside to let the other people order and wait for mine to be done. After five minutes of waiting  my order came and I walked back to the studio. As I was walking back I saw someone who looked familiar that was walking on the opposite side of the street, so I looked across the street again and realized who it was my ex Zack. I was so terrified that I almost dropped the drinks and literally ran to the studio. I said to myself 'that I think he saw me because he looked my way and he looked upset  or mad about something. Why was  ex in London I thought? All the questions came flooding into my head and I was scared. One of them was how was I going to tell Danny what just happened. I don't think  I'm   gonna tell him but what if Zack was looking for me and hurt Danny too, I don't know  what I would do if he hurt Danny. As my mind was going crazy from what happened I arrived at the studio and went to the stairs and to the door with the number 3 on it, opened the door and the guys saw me came running over and got there tea.

    Mark and glen took a sip and said 'thanks', Danny got his and  kissed me on the cheek. I just gave him a small smile and looked down at the floor. He pushed my head up with his hand  and  he looked me in the eye and knew there was something wrong.  

     Danny's POV.

       After our little tea break we got back to work. I knew something was bothering Kate, you can tell by the look on her face. I was going to ask her what was wrong but I will ask when we get home. She sat on the couch with her head down looking at the floor, I'm not the only one who noticed how scared she looked. Mark and glen knew it too. So we stopped and the three of us looked at each other then at her. Then she looked up because we stopped playing. I walked over to the couch and sat next to her and said 'Kate what's the matter you looked down and afraid for your life'. She looked at me and said 'nothing is wrong I'm not in a good mood and I don't feel well'. I said 'do you want to go home'. She nodded so we cut studio time a little short and I brought my baby home.

    Kate and I said our goodbyes to mark and glen and walked home. I held Kate's hand and she squeezed my hand tight. I looked at her and she looked at me and gave me a little smile. I pulled her close to me as we approached the front door to our house. I took the key out of my jacket pocket and unlocked the door. Kate walked in first and went straight to the couch and cried her eyes out. I walked toward her and asked 'want to talk about it'. Kate nodded and began to talk over her tears. 

        Kate's POV.

       When Danny asked what was the matter I had to lie, I didn't want to but it just came out. I told him that I didn't feel good, I didn't want him to know the real reason I didn't want him to worry. But he knew I was lying, I didn't want anything bad to happen to him. So when we got home I decided to tell him everything. I told him that I saw my ex and he looked mad like he wanted to find me or something. Danny told me that he would never let him hurt me, and he would protect me from my ex if he ever tried to do anything. I smiled through the tears at Danny and he looked so worried and looked like he wanted to kill zack. So I just went and kissed him, after we kissed I felt better and Danny said 'why didn't you tell  me earlier'. I told him that I was afraid and didn't want you to worry. Danny said 'of course I'm going to worry I don't want that idiot ex of yours to touch you'.

     Danny's POV.

    I cant believe Kate didn't tell me or the guys earlier at the studio.I knew she was scared I  would be too because her ex is an ass. If I see Zack walking around again near the house or studio or anywhere else I'm going to punch him. But I'm glad Kate finally told me and that me, glen and mark are going to keep an eye on her and her ex boyfriend.
