Twenty Nine

Aria's P.O.V

I woke up to see Beck was still holding me. I smiled up at him before getting up. Beck stirred and looked up at me.

"Stay," He mumbled.

"I have to pick up Xander," I told him.

"Not yet," Beck pleaded.

"Beck, I'm getting Xander," I told him. He got up and walked over to me. He wrapped his arms around me and he rested his head on my shoulder.

"Shouldn't you be at work?" I asked.

"Why should I go so soon?" Beck asked me.

"Because that's how you make money," I said in an obvious tone.

"I know but, I'm thinking of just doing my job here at home. I can stay here, you and Xander can see me, and you don't have to worry about me so much anymore."

"Or is it because you want to get back together?" I asked.

"Both. Think about it, Aria. You won't have to worry about me cheating on you anymore."

"Who will run the company's building?" I asked.

"Marie. She's a hardworking secretary," He said.

"She is nice. And we both trust her," I said.

"Yeah. So what do you say?" Beck asked me. I thought about it for a bit. He did have a point.

"Okay," I nodded. Beck smiled and gave me a kiss.

"I'm going to get Xander now," I told him.

"Fine."

I got changed and headed off to my parent's house. I got Xander and drove home.

"You ready to live with daddy?" I asked him. Xander nodded at me making me smile.

"Okay. Let's go say hi to him," I said. We drove up to his office, knowing he would be there, and walked over.

"Hey Marie," I smiled.

"Hey Aria. Hello Xander," She smiled at us.

"Is Beck here?" I asked.

"Yup. In his office. Let me make sure he's not busy," She said. After calling Beck, she gave us the okay signal and we went to the elevator. I pressed the button and Xander smiled up at me.

"We're going to see daddy," I said.

Xander clapped. I kissed his cheek and we walked inside. I saw Beck reading something on his computer until he looked up at us.

"There's my boy," Beck smiled. He walked over and picked up Xander.

"Hey," I smiled before sitting on a chair.

"What are you both doing here? Not that I don't mind," Beck said.

"Just wanted to stop by to say hi," I said.

"Hi," Beck smiled at me.

"How's work?" I asked.

"Just setting things up for when I leave. Marie knows everything she needs to know," Beck said.

"Good."

I watched as Beck and Xander bond a little. Xander smiled at Beck as he kissed his cheek.

"Well, I think it's time for us to head out. I'll see you later," I said.

"Alright. I'll see you at home," Beck said before kissing Xander one last time. He handed me Xander before kissing my cheek as well. I smiled at him as we walked out of his office.
