Three Years Ago
Aria's P.O.VA year since Beck and I have been dating. I brought some coffee and decided to surprise him at work. I walked over to the front and a woman with dark hair in a bun sitting and typing.
"Hi. I'm Aria Harrison. I'm Beck's girlfriend. Is it alright if I brought this up to him?" I asked her. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Hi. Let me tell Mr. Edwards first," She said. I nodded and I put the coffees down.
"Sir, there's a woman named Aria Harrison here to see you. Should I send her up?" There was a brief pause.
"Okay," she put the phone down and looked at me.
"Just go into the elevator and he should be in the 10th level," She told me.
"Thank you," I smiled. I grabbed the coffee and went inside the elevator. I pressed the button and waited. Once the doors opened, I saw a hallway that lead to Beck's office doors. I walked over and opened it. I looked inside and saw Beck typing until he looked up at me.
"Hey beautiful," He smiled.
"Hey. I brought you coffee," I said walking over. He stood up and I handed him the drink. He gave me a quick kiss before taking a sip.
"Thanks beautiful. So what brings you here?" He asked me.
"Not much. Just wanted to see you at work," I said.
"Cute," He smiled at me.
"So this is your office?" I asked before looking around.
"Yup."
"It's pretty big for someone who only needs a desk and a TV," I pointed out.
"I know. Someday, I'm just going to work at home. I basically can just do it there but there's no point. I live alone anyway," Beck said before taking another sip of his coffee.
"Are you one of those stereotypical CEOs, where they're rude to their employees?" I joked. Beck chuckled and shook his head.
"I'm reasonable. I'm only rude when I'm pissed," He said.
"I see. Well, I should let you get back to work," I told him.
"Have lunch with me tomorrow?" Beck asked.
"Okay. I'll see you later," I said. He nodded and gave me a kiss. I smiled at him and walked away.
