Three Years Ago
Aria's P.O.V

I was getting ready for a New Years Ball, Beck's parents was hosting for friends, and family. He invited my parents who will be joining us there.

"Aria, are you almost ready?" I heard Beck say.

"Almost," I said.

I slipped into my red dress and black heels before grabbing my purse and waking downstairs. I saw Beck in a tuxedo and he looked up at me. His eyes widen a bit in awe making him and I smile.

"You look beautiful," He told me.

"Thank you. You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah. Let's head off," He said. We got into his car and he drove off.

His party was at another mansion he inherited from his grandfather. It was a really large mansion that apparently had a ball room for everyone to be in. We walked inside and saw the food ready and his parents there.

"Beck, sweetie!" His mother smiled. She walked over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hello mother. You remember, Aria," Beck said.

"Of course I do. Hello Aria," his mom said before giving me a tight hug.

"Hello Mrs. Edwards," I smiled as I gave her a hug back.

"You look amazing sweetie. Beck, hold onto this one," She winked at Beck. Beck smiled and looked at me.

"Trust me. I will."

"Come with me to get a drink, Beck," His dad told him. Beck nodded and kissed my cheek before leaving,

"How is your parents, Aria? Will we be seeing them tonight?" Beck's mom asked me.

"Yup. They should be on their way," I smiled.

"Great! I heard you and Beck moved in together. Is that so?" She asked me.

"Yes. He asked me not too long ago," I blushed a little.

"How perfect."

More and more people came in and I saw my parents talking to Beck's parents. I looked around for Beck but couldn't find him. I walked out to the garden and looked at the flowers.

"You know. The party is inside," I heard. I turned around and saw Beck standing there with some champagne for the both of us.

"Couldn't find you," I told him.

"Here I am," Beck smiled. I walked over to him and he handed me the drink. I took a sip and so did he.

"Did I miss the slow song?" I asked.

"Nope. But why have it inside when we could just dance out here?" Beck asked.

"There's no music," I said.

"No problem," He took out his phone and put on a slow song.

I smiled at Beck and he put our glasses down.

"May I have this dance?" He asked bowing a bit. I laughed at him and nodded.

"Of course you may," I said. He stood up straight and wrapped an arm around my waist, holding my hand with the other. I placed my hand on his shoulder and we started to dance.

"I'm glad I'm spending New Years with you," He told me.

"Me too," I said.

"What are you resolutions?" He asked me.

"I honestly don't know. Never thought about it," I told him.

"Really? There's gotta be something you want to do," He told me.

"To go out and have more fun," I said.

"That's it?" He asked me.

"I guess. New year resolutions seem a bit stupid in my opinion," I said.

"Is it alright to tell you mine?" Beck asked.

"Of course."

"My resolution is to spend more time with you and hopefully to make you officially mine one day," Beck told me. I stared at him for a bit before I heard his watch go off.

"It's almost midnight," He said.

"How much time do we have left?" I asked.

"About a minute."

"So here we are," I said.

"Yeah."

Why was this getting awkward? We've kissed before. A new year of life and a new year's eve spent with Beck.

"Aria."

"Mhm?"

"I love you."

"I love you too," I smiled.

"Ten."

Beck and I wasn't in our little dance embrace anymore.

"Nine."

My arms were around his neck and he held me close.

"Eight."

"I love you," Beck said.

"Seven."

"I love you too," I said.

"Six."

I still feel nervous.

"Five."

Beck started to lean in slowly.

"Four."

He stops as if he's waiting for the number.

"Three."

Beck's lips are hovering mine.

"Two."

Here it goes. My first New Years kiss.

"One."

Beck's lips are placed onto mine. I kissed back and I heard fireworks in the back. We pulled away and looked up. I smiled at them and looked back at Beck who was staring at me. He placed his lips back onto mine where they should be.
